Description/History(Just tell a bit of your civilization): The Alteran Republic, also known as the Ancients, is a very old civilization, which in fact created life in most galaxies. Their civilization collapsed after a civil war between two factions. The Ori and the Lanteans. The war broke up when the ascension reasearch was completed, and now after people die, they could ascend to a higher plan of existance, living as pure energy. The Ori though the ascended being should be worshipped, but the Lanteans though the Alteran Republic should keep researching new science technologies instead of becoming a ruthless religious state. On the end, the Lanteans won. Also, after the war, the few remaining Ori managed to create a powerful plague which killed almost half of the Alteran civilization. Today, people might find old outposts and ships left by the ancient Alteran civilization.

  The ecumene is the translated name for the Forerunner empire which existed over 100,000 years ago. It stretched across the galaxy . The ecumene was established sometime before 10,000,000 BCE, centered in the Orion complex. At one point the Precursors made a decision to pass down the Mantle to humans instead of the Forerunners. Although the specifics and causes of the events are unclear, the Forerunners furiously rebelled against the Precursors , eventually leading to the latter retreating to Path Kethona, outside the galaxy. However, several Forerunners followed with an enormous fleet of warships. A majority of the Precursors were eradicated by the following Forerunners. The Forerunners responsible for the near-genocide were unable to bear the burden of what they had done. Ashamed, many of them exiled themselves on a barren planet located in the Spider. The Builder and the Warrior-Servant commanders of the ecumene worked to suppress the truth and realities of the war. Any individual that attempted to learn of the past was silenced or exiled to a Cryptum.

The Forerunners' technological achievements were without parallel in the known galaxy. They managed to create solidified surfaces out of light by using technology known as hard light, use slipspace to teleport between locations almost instantaneously, and create numerous forms of advanced machinery. Another of their greatest achievements is their ability to initiate premature stellar collapses of stars and create planets in less than 10,000 years. The Halo Array and the shield worlds are, above all others, the most significant pieces of surviving Forerunner technology. The planet Onyx and its inner Dyson sphere, Shield World 006, in particular demonstrated both their ability for engineering on a grand scale, and their near-transcendent grasp of slipspace technology. Description/History: Originally known for the Astrati lane- two star systems linked with heavy civilian traffic -the Astrati Union was one a rebel movement against the higher human faction in control. After quite a many years, the Astrati Fighters became the Astrati Union, and the densly populated worlds of Kaldor, Nefan and Chitari departed from Earth's control. However, the densly populated worlds themselves began to starve, suffer, and overall become less and less stable, causing the Union to employ heavy military response. The union was not as concerned with civilian life as the movement promised years ago.

On these three densly populated city worlds, life is a slog of corruption and depression, despite attempts to make it otherwise. Humans here merely know of civil war and insurgency, while the Astrati union seeks new star systems to expand their resources and land new colonies.

Description of Weapons/Ships/Technology:  Utilizing large quanities of infantry and tanks with cheap equipment on the ground, much of the weapons and armor is crude. All infantry are given flak jackets and a rifle, though many customize their armor further to add protection (metal plates, etc.) their equipment is meant to last, and as such, it does. However, the standard life span is not long at all. The navy meanwhile utilizes clean corridors and numerous vessels for transportation, with life in the navy being much more comfortable, but by no means safer. Ships are often lightly armed, and do not compose a threat alone.

President Gustavus is impatient. The last tests with a new device that might be able to instantly teleport people from a world to another have failed. A scientist says that the research team should consider using Naquadah to power up the wormhole.

Astrati Union

The Astrati's existence had been simple before- find the terrorists, kill them, and start all over again. In another universe where productivity didn't exist, it would have remained as such, however, this is not that universe, scientists do indeed exist, and a new form of probe was designed to find new worlds and new resources. It had found these new resources after years of exploring through dark space, fading past dead worlds and disappearing until alien starships. Exploration, colonization and general expansion was to begin for the Union. After years of constant gritty life in the overpopulated cities, things were about to change. If this was to improve and make life for the better however, was debated, especially due to the Union never quite living up to it's promises.

After several new tests with a Naquadah powered Stargate, the scientists successfuly managed to establish a wormhole between two planets. Now they are trying to make a portable form to deploy Stargates around the Alteran planets. Now people can get around way faster, since the Stargate travel is almost instantly.

[ THE ECUMENE ]


The Forerunner fleet is approaching at a rushing speed towards The Epsilon Indi system which is the home of Harvest , a habitable planet . The first highly powerful Promethean Troops drop from the enormous ships and start eliminating the current threats onto the Planet's Surface . Not long after , the first " Builders " ( meaning )  and start shaping the plant and building forerunner highly advanced structures on the planet . The farmlands of the planets are being harvested by the workers and distributed along all corners of the empire making Harvest a highly defended and useful planet for the Ecumene  . Back on the Homeworld The Didact held a speech regarding expansion and eliminating all the threats . New technology is being worked on as we speak .

The final tests with the Stargate wormhole physics were amazing. Despite the fact that when you connect a Stargate to another you can only go one way(Connector-Connected), it is something very nice. With a Zero-Point Module, it will have enough power to stay years operational. New seed ships are being built to place Stargates around the space.

Description/History: The Xo were not always so prominent within the economic sectors of space. In fact, at first the Xo started out as nothing more than another raider species, taking and killing without any regard for others. However, with the introduction into the economic aspects, the military of the once hostile Xo slowly dripped away. Civilians became more happy, and the government became something more than before.

Government Type: Oligarchy.
Head of Government: Rox. The name of the economic group of 50 or so who control the major buisnesses within the Xo empire.
Extra: A council of 100 specially selected civilians, who are capable of over-riding the Roxon any decision that affects the entire Empire, if 90 of the civilians can agree to override the decision. However, if the override works, the Rox may not do the same action for five years, and a new council is selected. Otherwise, the council manages to the three civilian planets.

Total Planets Inhabited: 12. Eight of these planets are nothing more trade planets, held by the Xo for the singular purpose of trading with others. One planet, the center of these twelve, is the military training home world, where all potential military recruits go to train. The final three planets are civilian worlds, where people live, farm, and work.
Total Planets Owned: 20. The twelve mentioned above. Six of the extra eight are deep on the rim, used for military bases as the first line of defense. The last two are closer to the civilian planets, used as science colonies. Things conducted on these planets are not entirely legal, however that knowledge is kept from the public eye. It is due to these research planets that the technology is so far along.

Description of Weapons/Ships/Technology: Xo weaponry and space ships are all about speed Most combat cruisers carry light lasers, capable of piercing the hull of most ships after a few good hits. When used in their swarm tactics, these are especially effective against larger ships that are unable to keep up with the scary speed possessed by these creatures. The other type of ship used is a cloaked ship. The way it works is only on scanners, but is useful for befuddling any weapons that a ship may be using. While heavier than the other ship, it packs extra heat for those quick attacks against necessary components to win. The stealth technology works similar to a black hole, instead of light however it bends signals. The only way to really guess where it is, is by looking at the change of signals, as it will never directly appear on the radar. Masses of these make tracking nearly impossible, as the signals sent out to track are thrown so off course, that auto-targeting weaponry will miss altogether. However, since this is a tiny military, their tactics often backfire, as they find themselves out of soldiers to win the battle if it is not over quickly.

Species Name: Xodrius/
Description: The Xodrius are a race of birds that at one time were capable of flight. While some are still capable of flight, the rigorous competition that at one point made flying imperative to be learned at any early age is gone, replaced instead by the space technology. So now, the large, majestic white feathers along the hawk like creature are nothing more than aesthetics at this point.
Intelligence: They are rather intelligent, hence how they came apon such a wonderful society.
Physical Ability: Those Xodrius that are still capable of flight can reach whopping speeds of up to 100 MPH. Either way, all of them still have amazing speed and agility, as their entire species used to use to survive back when they were nothing more than barely sentient birds flapping their wings.

The Stargate network improved transportation A LOT on the republic. Now things can happen way faster, and new seed ships are being deployed on nearby systems, so the republic may colonize more planets.
Meanwhile, President Gustavus authorize an expediction to explore the deep space and it's secrets. Since new ships have been deployed mainly to explore other planets.

[ THE ECUMENE ]

After colonizing the System of Epsilon Indi and the Planets of Harvest ; Epsilon the fleet has been commanded to turn back to the Main Fleet Station in the Orion's arm . On the other side the Builders have made a new Installation called Installation 05 , which is the second in a row of 12 Installation larger then Planets ; yet only 2 have been built and support sentient life on the surface ; ( Installations :  Installation 00  ; Installation 05 ) . A new Shield World is being built ; Called Onyx ; it will as well support sentient life and keep the artifacts as well as the advanced Janus Key which consists of two sides ; if they are merged  the key can find all Forerunners great artifacts and however who founded them can once become a Tier 1 technology . The fleet is enlarging it's sizes as well as the military and population . New armors are built and Promethean troops are being given better weaponry ( Weapon )

[Alteran Empire]
The new exploration project has been granted. The AFS Orion is being loaded with supplies and a hundred Stargates in case they find several planets which could be colonized. New tensions begin as an Ori riot occured at Celestis. Alteran forces were mobilized to arrest the Ori rebels, which caused several damage to some government buildings. There are rumors that some Ori followers managed to create a secret facility, in which ships are being built.
Also, the Stargates are being loved by everyone. New systems were integrated to prevent any instability events on the wormhole connection which may lead to death of travellers on the moment that they enter the wormhole. No failures have been reported though.

Interested in raising their profits, several scouts are sent out to find new planets to colonize, or other civilizations that wish to trade. Long range beacons are sent out, in an attempt to reach anyone who might be interested.

0900 Hours

As personnel on the Roden Shipyards Factory, he always noticed how the workers didn't appreciate him. Being a Caldari Navy man, he never was loved over the whole of New Eden. He launched the 8 probes in the core probe launcher, and received the active signal from his console. Scanning was the worst.


He sent them out, scanning for a spread formation centralized around Jufvitte, the system's sun. It began scanning, and picked up some type of cosmic signature. He thought about it, for a few seconds, considering that it could be a fake, but he began closing down his probes into that position, to see what it really was.


It seemed like a wormhole.
