Government CS: military technology Nation's Name: The Vian Republic Total Population: around 37.84 billion Description/History: the vian republic is the republic created by the vian, a race of humanoid black skinned 4 armed and 4 eyed weird faced aliens who, like most friendly races, want the galaxy to have peace forever. they quickly realized that to fight bad alien empire, they too have to make a empire. Their tech is basic in terms of interstellar travel and only know of 2 other intelligent race. unlike the races in their galaxy, who stared into the sky for answers of where is everyone. the vian already had the answer in their solar system already, as their core world, jannora, is orbited by a larger planet called fimon, which like jannora, has life and a basic civilization on it (dubbed fimonians. they are currently in the agriculture stage of development) Government Type: Military economical Head of Government: Kivka (will change overtime, some will die to natural causes and others murdered) Extra: Stats(1-10): 6 Technology: 6 Poverty(1 is none, 10 is high): 3 Intelligence: 6 (around the ability to have flying cars and basic interstellar travel.) Military: 7 Trade: 7 Wealth: 5 Corruption(1 is none, 10 is high): 2 Economy: 6 Total Planets Inhabited: 2 and a half (half goes to a moon) Total Planets Owned: 2 and a half Capital Planet: Jannora Military Population: around 150 million Military Strength(Success rate): 50% chance of winning, so its 50/50 Description of Weapons/Ships/Technology: electromagnetic guns, they will use magnetic pulses to fire tiny bullets many times faster than a ordinary bullet. Capable of Hyperdrive travel(Yes/No): kinda yes, the interstellar travel is in work. but the current tech is solar sails! (i will want to invest in anti matter later, then maybe wormholes after that  ) Species CS: Friendly humanoid aliens Species Name: Vian Description: a race of humanoid, black skinned, 4 armed (with 4 fingers and 1 thumb, no pinky), 4 eyed, weird faced aliens. Intelligence: 6 Physical Ability: their extra hands allow them to build and use things more quickly, but takes time to master all 4 of their arms (around 2 years after birth). they also have 4 eyes but are smaller than a ordinary human, so basically have the same eyesight has a human. Sorry, but this died long ago. If you're interested on a sci-fi RP but as a character, I'd recomment Beyond Earth.

Yes. Please, make a new thread for this so that space warfare may happen.
also note that realistic space empires control hundreds or thousands of star systems, and it's OK to assume that 10-15% of those have habitable planets and another 10-20% can be terraformed to be habitable. If somehow ur alien race thrives in extreme heat or extreme cold conditions and doesn't mind being burned by lava or frozen by blizzards, expand that habitable to 20-25% and the terraformable to probably about 30%. But races that thrive in extreme heat or cold had better have a darn good reason for being a military superpower.

I'll start something up on piratepad. I might take some inspiration from this RP, seeing as Piment did base Among the Stars off that. I'm not sure about activity, though, so hopefully more people will join this time. I'll send you the link to the piratepad soon. |

True, although I'm willing to try. Most likely the lack of interest is caused by the inactivity of this forum in combination with how each RP genre is divided, and so users are limited to what RPs that may see at first glance. I sent the piratepad link, if you're interested in writing a backstory or something.
