You may be familiar with some of Mr. Cross' music, depending upon your lack of taste. Three years back the musician was in a public relationship with a rising actress, until a party in his NYC penthouse resulted in a thirty story plummet to her death. Her death was deemed accidentally after investigation, though largely in part to the defense of Cross' lawyer Mr. David Ruthers. Fifteen months later, Ruthers was found murdered, which we may or may not have been involved in. Ever since, Cross, with daddy's money at his disposal, keeps a tight crew of armed bouncers anywhere he goes.

Presently, Mr. Cross is staying at the Himmapan Resort in Bangkok to record with his crew and celebrate the upcoming birthday. Someone has paid AGE handsomely to make sure he does not leave that resort alive. There is a considerable bonus for any Agent able to stage the death as accidental.
Yoinked straight from Hitman... Yup.

Exploring the AGE Headquarters and beginning to learn the ins-and-outs of the place, you cross into what appears to be a recreational room with half a dozen various AGE employees spread throughout, passing the time in their own ways. As you enter, you almost run head-on into an overly zealous young woman clutching several packets close to her chest. Uttering a quick apology, she looks up at you with a start.

"Oh! Agent Stellerjay, welcome! I believe I have one here..." she began to say, fingering through the packets until she nodded and handed one to you excitedly. 

"Here we are; Contract debriefing on Poetic Justice for you, Mr. Stellerjay. Your ADO is available in office 224, and we'll start gathering your loadout in the meantime. And enjoy Thailand; I hear it's beautiful this time of year."

I slowly open the package and examine the insides, somewhat weirded out from the quick experience with the lady.

(Sorry I'm kinda slow; Letting my phone charge. Still am, actually, just grabbed it as I step out for a minute. I tend to try and post at least once every hour or two.)

Looking through the debrief packet's contents, you see various various photos of presumably the Himmapan Resort, a headshot of Mr. Cross, and various other documents regarding travel and your room reservation. By the time you look back up, you notice the young brunette had already scampered away, likely delivering more of the endless manilla packets here at AGE.

(What do I do now? I'm not exactly sure on where to go.)

I closely inspect the details of my travel papers and room reservation so I can be sure of what to expect. I'm excited to see Thailand, even if it is all about going there so I can kill somebody.

(You can head up to your personal AGE Debriefing Officer [ADO] for a full rundown and Q&A before heading into the field, or just head straight to the garage for transport to Bangkok.)

Studying your reservation details, you see that you are to arrive by boat to the resort's shore after flying to Thailand. Your room has been reserved as a standard 1st floor suite on the east wing, under the name of Johnathan King; Good enough to get you in, perhaps, though moving further into the resort may take some creative thinking.

Now that I'm updated on the details of the travel, I head to the assigned office as instructed, being sure to not run into any more people.

Heading up to room 224, you enter the office to be warmly greeted by a well dressed male with a slight grey sheen to a head of otherwise dark hair, a glass of what looked to be scotch sitting on the desk.

"Greetings Agent Stellerjay, I trust you have no objection to arriving by shore? South wing security is noticible lighter, though a taxi can be arranged upon your preference."

"Whatever can get me to Thailand quickest."

[Benzo]

Something you say seems to strike the ADO as amusing, a slight smirk appearing in accompany to a short chuckle.
"You have a driver waiting to take you to the airport; Since this isn't a joint-operation with Thai officials, AGE cannot risk flying a personal aircraft there. Upon arrival in Bangkok, your driver will greet you with your requested loadout and take you to the pier, where a short journey by boat will take you right to the shore of Himmapan."

I'd notice the smirk but dismiss it shortly after.

"Alright, that'll do."

Oh, I forgot to mention that Stellerjay is nearsighted and therefore has to wear glasses.

Taking a gulp from his glass, the ADO pulls up a map of AGE HQ's general layout and begins pointing.
"Your driver will be waiting for you in lot E12, whenever you are ready to depart, Agent. And remember the guardian angel in your earpiece, which your driver will provide for you."

The ADO shakes his head simply, putting the map away as he downed the rest if his glass.
"Unless you have anything further you need; Do us proud, Agent."

"I'll make sure to."

I push my glasses up to my eyes to see better while I set off to the designated garage lot.

[Benzo]

Making your way up to the designated AGE parking facility, you explore the vacant vehicles until you spot a man standing beside what appeared to be a newer black Lincoln sedan, a thin trail of smoke drifting from the end of a lit cigarette he held. Taking a drag, he looks up and spots you with a nod, throwing the butt aside and offering his hand as you approached.

"Greetings, Agent. Let's get you where you're needed, eh?" he greets you warmly, opening a back seat and closing the door behind you before jumping behind the wheel. "Passport and ticket should be in the pouch for you, right behind my seat."

I check the pouch, finding exactly as told.
"Yeah, they're here."

[Benzo]

The driver nods at you as you begin to pull away from AGE HQ. "We've about a two hour drive before you're at the airport. From there, you're on your own until your next driver finds you, wherever you're going. So make yourself comfortable, and let me know if you would like any sort of adjustments."


(Travel points like this and plane travel are pretty much 'Go at your own pace' times. Meaning, it will last indefinitely until you make it clear you want a time-skip; Be it simply by stating it OoC or taking a quick nap. Typically not as useful for solo contracts, but if you're working with one or more partners, travel points are the perfect time to come up with a 'battle plan' so to speak.)

Before long, the passing scenery of landscape turns into the outcrop of a large city and eventually, you look up to see your driver on approach to the airport. Pulling up the the curb alongside several other vehicles, he hops out and opens your door to the bustling sidewalk.

"It's been a pleasure, Sir. We look forward to your return from your business trip."
