Death and Resurrection in Kenos

[vammy]

"Welcome to Jerusalem! The only source of civilization in this horrid world. They call me the messiah." He points at a few people smoking

"Well, er.. how did you heal me?"

(Gonna make a second character cause why not)

"Because I am the Messiah, God himself gifted me these powers."
He smiles and then uses his powers on a nearby plant causing a plant similar to the one the lizard herders offered you earlier to pop up.

"He also told me to spread these powers."

(That's alright)

Name: Ronald Parker

Appearance: Ronald has an average height, standing 5'10". He looks about 160 pounds. He has black, short hair and eyes so black you'd doubt he's human. When not wearing his uniforms, he wears vintage Soda shirts, blue jeans, a brown leather belt, and black sneakers. He requires glasses to see farther away. 

Start: Frontiersman

Items: Military Issued weaponry, a 4 sets of uniforms (Two for colder or rainy weather), a jacket, razor blades, a sleeping bag, and a blanket. All held on his waist with holder said or in a large backpack, if not set out.

Other: I'd like to start in a northern area, if possible. Ronald joined the military on a bet.

"What's that plant? A couple of traders tried to sell me some."

Ronald

After noticing you already had a gun, and generally seemed like you could survive a battle with a few cartel member they let you into the Kenos army without a doubt in mind. You were the sent to a outpost in Oregan, controlled by Kenos part of their expansion north campaign.

Near you are many of your fellow frontiersmen, inside the town is a few small buildings, a few lizard herders you know the usual.

Amos

"Marijuana my friend, smoke this and you'll be cured of anything."

He rolls up the stuff in some paper and passes it to you.

[Patriot]

Ronald
I'd look for the are we were staying, it was marked on a map when we entered.

Amos
"I don't smoke." I continue walking with the Messiah

Ronald

On the map a fairly large building is marked, you look up and see a tall wooden building in the center of the camp. On the outside you see many friendly looking people waiting for you.

Amos

"Oh that's a shame, so what brings you to Jerusalem? Usually only smokers come here."

[Patriot]

Ronald

I walk towards the building and crowd, and I greet them.

Amos

"I was shot and almost killed by a few men, and while trying to find people, I saw a road leading to here."

[vammy]

Ronald

"Hey Ronald is it? Welcome to the crew." They all wave at you
It seems to be a group of men in their 20's all wearing armor and armed

(Warning you now, being in the north your going to have to worry about more then cartels)

Amos

"Well isn't that a story, well you may stay here as long as you like we allow all visitors and like to stay out of this silly war going on."

For a leader he's quite young, possibly anywhere from 18-28

I'd wave back at them and nod

Amos

"I need clothes, all my shirts are torn and bloody, my shoes got stolen, and my pants are held together by a thread."

Ronald

There's about six of them a decent force. You noticed a number of non-armed citizens who decided to also move tot the frontier, probably to escape laws, old life and perhaps just to have a little fun. The city seems to be in full swing.

Amos

" Oh, it's clothes you need I don't know how to heal clothes, only the living you know, but I'll see what we have." Mr.Messiah goes inside a church like building before coming out with some clothing, it's at this time you notice the pungent smell of the plant around you.

[The Villa Strangiato]

Name: Andrei Kosinski
Appearance: Andrei wears a black ballistic vest, and an olive green jumpsuit. In addition, he wears ZSH-1 headgear and goggles. Andrei is 5'7, weighs 150 pounds, and is a Caucasian with blue eyes. Not much else is known about Andrei physically, as he is never seen without his mercenary garb.
Start: Freelancer/Mercenary
Items: A semi automatic SVD with a removable suppressor and custom furniture, with 3 magazines, and a compact M4 with no stock, carry  handle, and an ultra short barrel, with only 2 mags. Andrei also carries some money and a canteen.
Other: Andrei is willing to carry out any contract, for the right price.

I try to move away from the smell, and take the clothes. "Thank you"

I head into a empty area and change into the clothes, leaving the bloody ones there.

(Everyone loving the mercenary/raider start)
Andrei

Here we go once again, the Kenos-Cartels war you surely heard of it. Fighting over who will control of the states of Arizona and Nevada, two large factions in a twisted world, and your in the middle of it.

The Cartels are hiring every Mercernary with half a brain to join their cause, you find yourself in the city of Venice a minor town controlled by The Caesar, you find yourself in a major bar inside the town.

Many seedy individuals lurk in these parts.

The new clothes are mainly just a standard blue jumpsuit the strange man said he found salvaging one morning. They fit well surprisingly.

I'm curious why are you trying to get to Kenos, I wasn't aware their reach went that far.

George

The inside of the building is a quite simple, a bunker with many small rooms lined together, you see yours on the upper floor. along the way you see a rack of some melee weapons. You had heard that the republic had stopped using guns due to their cost.

[Patriot]

Amos
I walk back to the Messiah, wearing my new suit
(Did you ask that ooc?)

George
I head to my barrack, and put my sheets and blanket on the cot. I put most of my supplies in a cabinet next to it.

[vammy]

Amos

Yes, yes you did put that in your CS.

The messiah gives you a thumbs up and you see him making more and more plants grow but this time flowers. He smiles at you.

"I see they fit. Anything else you need? I would try to convert you but it's easier when your smoking."

George

Inside the cabinet you find a sword, a longsword with your name engraved on it. And a note reading "A gift from the President Markos."

(He wants to go there because as a farmer in a region where there was no governing body, the economy was crap and he needs a more stable environment so he can make more money) "Convert me to what?" I ask the Messiah.

Ronald

I take sword and sheathe it. I rest it against my bed, guessing a sword this nice was not for combat.

[The Villa Strangiato]

Andrei walks towards the bartender.
"Martini."
Andrei puts down the required money and waits.

Amos

"Well I believe that I am the second coming, sent to save humanity in our time of need. Born to no father except God. Sadly few believe me so I have given up hope on converting those to the truth."

George

All swords can be used for stabbing however, the cartel mercenaries may be better armed but they demand wealth. Generally the room it self is a nice area with a checkerboard in the corner, a half-decent bed and what else's three hots and a cot.

Speaking of hots the kitchen is downstairs if you care. Everything and everyone else is just going through its morning routine.

A short stocky bartender hands you your drink and starts making conversation with you.

"New in town are ye? Surprised anyone's been coming with all the killings."

[The Villa Strangiato]

"I'm a hired gun. Stopped here for a job. Thanks."
Andrei drinks it down slowly.

Andrei

"Well if you can find out who's doing all these killings I bet you could make a fair paycheck."

"Do you have rooms for rent?" Andrei asks, crossing his arms.
