Death and Resurrection in Kenos

[vammy]

Gasmask

You notice a large amount of men with long spears are now marching towards you with the Intent to kill; they form a tight phalanx and one of them yells out "warriors charge! "

Jeremy

The Caesar orders for wine to be poured around coming out of a bottle with name "screaming eagle" on it, despite the fact your standing you're also given a cup of the stuff. The Caesar takes a deep breath and begins his speech

"Some of you may have heard of the recent war with the Kenos threat, despite our attempts to spread trade and technology to the old states of Arizona and Nevada they have claimed these areas for themselves, there may be a game-changer that if taken could grant me much power and grant you much wealth."
He grins
" Las Vegas."

Harold

The merchant seems annoyed by your interruption but who cares that women has a laser rifle. She notices you slinking toward her and asks you what's your business here and what do you want.

[Death]

[Gasmask]

As the warriors charge, Gasmask's axe is still buried in this guys head. As the body slumps to the floor, his grip tightens around the wooden handle and he jerks the axe forward in a semi-circle swing, the body flying off into the phalanx. As soon as the body leaves his axe, he rushes forward to meet their charge with glee.

[Jeremy]

Las Vegas, huh? Seems like a decent place to earn a bit of money, maybe he could grab any leftovers there, not many people go there. "So, um, plan of attack on how we're going to take Vegas? It's huge and may be crawling with mutants and or raiders."

[Harold]

"I wanna ask how much you'd want for that laser rifle." He asks, very seriously to the woman, raising his arm slightly to point at the gun attached to her hip.

[Patriot]

"Thanks." I give him the coins. I pet the dog as I leave with my greasy hands. I remove my shotgun from the cloth, ready it, and carry it as I head west to Kenos.

[vammy]

They end up spreading out trying to avoid being hit with their friends dead body, giving you the perfect chance to charge one of them. One unlucky person now has a axe in his skull, and his scream alerts the rest of the warriors.

Jeremy

"It is, apparently this group called the "Mafia" controls what's left of it, but they are no problem for my great army! Today I recruit those of you to help me your beloved Caesar take over Vegas once and for all."

Harold

The woman and her friends laughs at you; before answering your question.

"This is not for sale, laser weaponry is solely for loyal cartel soldiers and its members no one else. You can have a regular gun if you do incline." She points to a pile of guns next to her

Amos

You leave the city of Denver and continue on the road, according to your map south of here is where the Cartels rule, but your still quite a ways from Kenos and what it can provide. You also notice on your map that the cartel owns a railroad that could get you as far as Baja California, or you can try traveling by foot.

As well you notice that front of you seems to be a road with a few giant sand worms roaming the sides.

[Patriot]

I'd shoot the worms with my shotgun, and I would eat them for dinner. I head to the Railroad, with hopes I could sneak into it.

[vammy]

Amos

The worms taste like apple sauce mixed with salt, not the most pleasant taste but eh.

The railroad is guarded by a group of men who look at you with the quickest glance ever.

"Cartel members only sir."

[Patriot]

I'd say "Yeah, er, I'd actually like to join the cartel" I'd put my shotgun over my shoulder and shuffle a bit.

[vammy]

Amos

The guards get a surprised look on their face, before smiling.

"Oh really? You must be trying to help us in the war? We could always use another hand."

[Patriot]

Amos
"Oh, yeah, yeah."

[vammy]

Amos

" Well you already seem armed, the Caesar is actually preparing a invasion in Verona which isn't far from here. It's a bit south of here actually I'll mark it on your map if you want."

[Patriot]

"Yeah, will we be traveling by the railroad?"

[vammy]

Amo

"Well no we don't have any rails that lead to Verona."

That's a problem

[Patriot]

I'd scan my surroundings, looking for other guards.

[vammy]

There's only one gate to the railroad but you do see many other guards patrolling around looking around for Kenos Warriors. Perhaps you could gain access from them or perhaps they'll shoot you. Only God knows

[Patriot]

I take a knife from my jacket, and when I see a guard alone, I hold a knife against him and back him into an empty room. I close the door and lock it. I stab him in the chest 5 times after taking his clothes. I put them on and my others into my backpack. I leave the room.

[vammy]

While there are no rooms you can hide in you do manage to get away with stabbing one of the guards and picking on their uniform, I'm not completely sure no one saw you so I suggest running.

At least now you can use the rails

[Patriot]

I'd run into the track, and get on a cart.

[vammy]

Amos

You take a seat in a random train cart and press a button and it starts moving out to its destination, in front of you are many snacks and magazines for your reading and eating pleasure. You should be at your destination soon.

[Patriot]

While waiting to arrive, I ready my shotgun, expecting some Military to meet me. I eat some of the snacks to regain my energy.

[vammy]

Amos

You are dropped off in a town by the name of "Salt Lake City" perhaps you get on the wrong train but this doesn't look anything like Kenos. You are greeted by a group of Mormons who seem eager to meet you.

"Oh look another cartel trader."

[Patriot]

I get out of the cart, keeping my head down and gathering my bearings. I read my map and head in the Direction of California.

[vammy]

Amos

The Mormons begin to chase after you.

"Ay where ya going?"

[Patriot]

Amos

"None of your business"

[vammy]

Amos

"The cartels still haven't sent us our supplies."

"But that guy is loaded why can't we have his stuff?"

Suddenly you hear a gunshot
