Name: Formerly Captain Harold Ferguson, now known as ‘Gasmask Man’.
Appearance: The former captain is a mutant, almost seven feet tall, with very little sanity left. After a rather unfortunate incident, he became a monster. He wears an old, tight fitting, bullet ridden United States Navy Seal uniform stretched slightly due to his larger size, complete with helmet and gasmask. He’s around seven feet in height, and is of athletic and muscular build. His body remained fairly normal in proportions when he was changed, apart from his sudden height burst. His flesh is that of a putrid green, his hair is non-existent and his eyes are black pools of anger and hatred.
Start: Freelancer
Items: Old wood-axe wrapped in barbed wire and covered in blood, a large sledgehammer that is obviously used, and a rusty cleaver with a jagged, serrated edge to it. Guns are for wimps.
Other: He doesn’t talk, kills everyone he comes across, and is essentially Jason Voorhees in the amount of damage he can take. He has several dens across the Kenos Republic, they are affectionately known as ‘slaughterhouses’ to everyone else. When he is not found murdering stupid soldiers that come to kill him or the odd survivor that blunders into his den, he can be found pressing old flowers into a book.
Name: Jeremy Higgins
Appearance: Of average build and height, Jeremy looks like your Average Joe. He has messy, but also somehow neat brunette hair that hides his face and eyes. He’s about five eleven in height, and wears a generic merc uniform that’s fairly utilitarian in design, old kevlar vest, helmet, ski-mask, the works.
Start: Mercenary
Items: Automatic Rifle of some kind, one magazine in the gun and one in reserve, a pistol with a single magazine, a combat knife. He has several other things such as food, water, etc, the bare essentials to keep him going while he’s doing a job.
Other: Jeremy isn’t a hero, he’ll do the job to the letter, and if that means spilling innocent blood so be it, so long as he survives. He also isn’t the bravest individual, and will gladly ‘tactically reposition’ (i.e running away flailing and screaming) if the going gets rough. He has survived an encounter with the ‘Gasmask Man’ before, and has developed a phobia of him.
Name: Harold ‘Long’ Johnson
Appearance: He has straw blonde hair, with bright, vibrant blue eyes and pearly white teeth. He could be considered really nice looking, but behind that mask is a personality of nihilism and generally being a dickhead. He’s around six foot two, and wears a green plaid shirt with a combat vest over the top of it. He covers his head with a baseball cap, and he wears a bandana to cover his face. Harold also wears dark trousers, with knee and shin-pads to protect his legs. He also wears steel-toe boots.
Start: Salvager
Items: M1911 pistol with a single clip, a knife, and a steel, slightly rusted baseball bat.
Other: He’s a dick who replies to most conversation with snark and sarcasm.

Gasmask
You sir are a foul piece of shit, simply terrible killing innocent people just for fun. I hate people like you, but then again 90% of the people in this damned place are foul pieces of shit so I guess you'll fit in just fine with the other trash.
After a successful hunt you find yourself at one of your old slaughterhouses, you see a few other raiders waiting for you and they all give you a thumbs up as you drag the new bodies to the den. Two old surviviors dumb enough to come into your territory, the usual these days. They start screaming the second they see all the stuff you have prepared for them, one of your raider friends takes him off your hands and straps them a chair, singular. Try to figure that one out yourself. Other then that dilemma your other raider buddies said they wanted to meet with you beforehand you can either handle these survivors first or talk to the raiders.
Jeremy Higgins
While you aren't evil like certain people (cough gasmask cough) you are boring which is almost as bad. Seriously I almost fell asleep as you described yourself. Average joe? That's so cliche I almost expected to find out a jock took your girl in the bio.
You find yourself at the mouth of a large cartel city that is under the control of The Caesar, as of lately some other mercenaries claim he's paying a very large sum of wealth to whoever will help him in the Kenos War. Perhaps this could be the job for you.
Other then that the city of Verona is your oyster, a large town surrounded by a wall of plastic and metal and marksmen lining the towers, inside is a district of markets, taverns and everything in between.
Harold Long Dick
You didn't think I would catch that pun didn't ya? Well I did. Personally I think it's kinda clever and I'll reward you one whole exp point for it. This character is also a boring salvager but eh I already ranted about that.
Inside the ruins of Hollywood, no one truly knows what was Hollywood, but it's assumed that it was a powerful nation that dominated the west coast. You heard rumors of vast riches in the rubble of the city and this encouraged you to visit the area in hopes of finding artifacts. While you failed to be the first person to come to this area and see a few other salvagers already came you still can find some good stuff.
Currently your walking on some road that's called Hillview Avenue; you see a few merchants and traders selling recently salvaged items and cartel wares, other salvagers and see some spray paint with the words Eastside LA on the side of a building.

Gasmask Man
Gasmask's boots echo against the stone floor beneath him as he follows the survivors location; he ignores any cries for help, and any slurs thrown at him are met with a smack that could break bones. His breathing is loud, and overtakes most sounds around him, including any idle chatter (i.e nonsensical bullshit) that his raiders are having. The other raiders know he never talks, and most problems are solved by fighting or killing each other- he is uncontested leader of these bunch of sick monsters and he loves it.
Jeremy
The Merc idly drummed on the wooden stock of his rifle, yawning from sleep deprivation. He was going to certainly help with this Kenos War crap that was going on, kill a couple guys, get a little money, survive, but first he needed to finish patrolling, and then fall into a blissful sleep. He was described by many people around him as a cockroach- mostly by people who hated his guts for leaving them behind. Really, he thought they shouldn't be complaining, after all, he was probably a better person than they were. That was his logic anyway. He slowly patrols around, glancing from person to person, making sure none of these civvies were gonna cause problems.
Harold
Harold's pistol would remain holstered at his side, and he would observe the area around him in detail, noting any people armed, and different ways to take them out if it came down to it. He'd wander around at a slow pace, perusing the merchant's stalls, to make it look like he was doing something other than looking like he was casing the place to rob later. He'd literally been shot at for staring at someone for too long, as they thought he was observing them to rob them; paranoid buncha mororns.

---Gasmask---
The survivors continue their screaming and begging, but of course that falls on deaf ears. The raider closest to you grabs a oil powered drill for you to use.
" We found some fuel and this on a salvager, old world artifact boss wanna use it?"
Don't even need to get your own weapons, why be a king when you can be a raider.
---Jeremy---
After a few bursts of citizens coming in and out of city a higher ranking officials comes over to tell you that your shift is over, he hands a small handful of 10 copper coins and sends you on your way. Now the city is open to you and you can finally get a drink, or whatever you need.
And of course the Caesar is always waiting.
---Harold---
Basically everyone here is armed with some sort of weapons although most of them do not have guns.
You notice that while most of the merchants are on foot, the one from the cartel is on horseback and has two people with her to help holding all the resources.
She's a short woman with light brown hair kept in a ponytails, she is wearing leather armor with leggings.

He wears a rough brown shirt woven from a coarse fabric, his pants held up with suspenders. He wear jeans, that seem so old they could fall apart. ---Amos Smith---
Another raider, but this time from the far north Great Lakes area. I don't know what drove you to travel this far but hopefully you have a good reason.
You soon come up the mountains of Denver, a large city that was able to avoid the apocalypse due to its location deep in the hills. It's basically a bastion of the old world, people living peacefully together, united and working. The first thing you see once they let in into Denver is a tall church in the far north, and closer to you are many upon many homes, farmers and herders. To the west is a cave that has a few people moving in and out of it. Although there's no signs saying what's it used for.

I reach into a jacket I took off of a man the day before, and take a sharp knife. I'd look at a reflection of myself in a window, and try to make myself presentable by cutting my long hair. I load and ready my shotgun. I take a large piece of cloth and hide my shotgun in it. I'd try to blend in with the people, taking my chances they wouldn't notice me. It seemed like a community where everyone knew everyone and rumors spread fast. As a I walk towards the caves, I tap a mans shoulder while he was exiting. I ask him what the caves were used for.

The man seems slightly startled but answers quickly.
" Ol caves of gold and silver, new in town are ya?"
It was a slightly older man, gray hair and already lost some of his teeth.

[Gasmask]
He nods stiffly at the raider, allowing him to do the honors with a quick gesture- he wasn't going to waste his energy on these guys.
[Jeremy]
He slowly makes his way toward the Caesar, watching and remaining vigilant for any assholes who are trying to be assholes.
[Harold]
He watches the woman covertly, hat down covering his face.

Gasmask
The raider grabs the drill and puts it right on top of one of the survivors chest, you hear a loud noise and when it's done one of them is dead. This is repeated until your left with two dead bodies. While this is going on your raiders are mentioning something about Kenos and how's it dares to attack one of your dens in the north.
Jeremy
You see people doing what they always do, some creepy guy hitting on a teenager; a group of cartel members counting their money. What's new in Verona? Nothing much as of late. You soon reach the outside of the Caesar's castle a large building made of stone, shaped as a castle. On the outside is random words scratched in a language you don't understand. Two Mercenaries are at the gate.
Harold
She just sends off a few of them to continue salvaging, telling the salvagers around her to buy some wares. A few decide to check out the stuff but most don't.

Amos I'd thank the man and enter cave. As I head farther I see chips of gold and silver and such on the ground, as I search for small nuggets and put them in my satchel.

The man grumbles as you ignore his question and you walk further into the cave, "I wonder how far he'll get before-", the old man's voice begins to wander off before you find yourself in a dark cave, picking up metal as ou go along.
This works out until you reach the end of the cave and realize you can't really see well, you see some light to the north and east although you can pick either tunnel you may also go back outside.

[Gasmask]
The murderer grins at the fact that more idiots were foolish enough to come into the lion's den. His expression isn't seen by any other raiders though. He clamps toward one of his many exits, and jumps on any vehicle that is within his general vicinity that works (preferable a Harley because those look cool as fuck). He leaves 'Stabby the Stab Stabber of Stabbingville' in charge.
[Jeremy]
He walks into the Caesars.
[Harold]
He looks to a merchant and begins to start haggling with him, just to fit in a bit more as he continues to observe the lady.

Stabby takes his new position with glee, claiming his first order of business is to find him some coffee. You jump onto the Harley and ride out toward the city of San Francisco or more specifically your den near the Kenos Capital. It's a fast trip that you have made many time but in the distance before you make it you notice a very large amount of warriors waiting for you.
Jeremy
Inside is a grand building with statutes of Roman legionnaires, swords hanging off the wall and the scattering of many servants. Leading to the front room is a red velvet carpet lined with guards on every side, it leads to a tall throne mad on that throne sits a tall dark skinned man with a bushy beard. The Caesar.
(Important character: The Caesar/ real name unknown)
Harold
The merchants tells you he's selling salvaged bullets at 2 a coin, a decent price. While you're listening into the woman you overhear her talking about some sort of railroad and something about fuel.

[Gasmask]
He rides as close as he can, before skidding to a stop with a badass sideways stop. He steps of the bike with a thump; wood-axe in hand. Time to stretch his muscles a bit- he could use a decent workout. His axe is in his right hand and is facing downward toward the ground.
[Jeremy]
This guy is certainly into his Empire of Rome stuff, Jeremy would inspect around one of the statues looking under the weird armour skirt thing that the Romans wore to see if they wore any underwear. Really he was making himself look like an immature asshole.
[Harold]
"Got any attachments or anything for an M1911?" He'd ask the merchant, seeing how he has pretty decent prices- the woman didn't seem to be much of a threat right now but he glanced over idly occasionally to see if anything drastic has happened.

The oldest of them walks calmly up to you, clearly wanting to talk before he fights.
"The Patrician James has ordered us to stop your killings and destroy your dens. Now if you are peaceful and agree to stop your ways we will allow you to own a few pockets of land in our glorious republic."
He's not well aware of how the mute do things.
Jeremy
They're in fact not wearing underwear as that would be ahistorical according to the Caesar, also speaking of the Caesar he notices what you are doing and shakes his head at you before speaking.
" Come on come on my mercenaries sit down for this order."
Harold
"Well no, do you know how expensive guns are even the damn republic is using swords now a days, but I do got bullets friend."
The lady's customers has increased and it seems she does have guns, at her hip however seems to be a laser rifle of sorts

Surprisingly enough you find all you need from here, it's a surprisingly well stocked store. The man asks for 35 coins once you get to the front of the aisle.
You notice the man has a dog with him, on its collar it says the dog's name is fluffy

Before the man is even halfway through his sentence, Gasmask's wood-axe is buried into his frontal lobe.
[Jeremy]
Jeremy leans against the pillar, attempting to look cool; but instead just comes off as a huge nerd.
[Harold]
"Keep that offer open, I got something I need to do," he turns and walks away, wandering toward the woman.
