Okay. So, most of you will probably find this next thing I'm about to say unnecessary or unreasonable, but I believe that it could help us negotiate and prevent further fighting. Yes, 50% percent of this is purely my fault. For ever bringing up the 'secret', for posting this thread, and for continuing to provoke. However, you'll notice I said 50% is my fault. I mean, I have to be honest here, and in order to do that I have to find a way to calmly say what you guys did wrong, since I just pointed out what I did wrong. The majority of you might not agree with this, and that is fine. As long as I can say this, everything will be fine.
After reading Purring's (or was it Lego's?) statement on the fact that what you all have said could be taken as a favor, I realized that's a true fact, but the way most of you expressed your beliefs or statements made me feel like it shouldn't have been taken as a favor. All of us didn't manage to stay calm for the whole thread. Some were enraged instantly, others lasted a few pages. But if there's ever a next time that this kind of thing happens, we should all try to say our words in less...agitated ways. In less aggressive ways. You could calmly hint that this wasn't a good idea; to say this; and I could attempt to stay calm and not get mad.
I'm hoping some will decide to go with me on this suggestion. I truly think that if we were calm and explained things in a more tranquil way, we would not be in the state that we are all in now.

I can't seem to recall a time when I wasn't in favor of the past, and right now is no different. I want to go back to the forum with you guys because I constantly remember those times when...when good RP's came out often and we were all more positive. When we were less aggressive with criticism, when OOCs were rare. There was a period of time when all those aspects were present, and although it seems hard or even impossible to fully return to those times, what with the filter and stuff, but I think we should at least try. |
