The Fight for Earth[SU RP]

The Diamond Authority was not to be trifled with. The leaders of the Gem homeworld were cruel and careless, going to worlds inhabited with life and destroying those who reside there in order t make room for their own malicious deeds. Be it starting up the Kindergarten, a dangerous machine used to create new, evil gems by taking resources from the world until there's nothing left, or simply slaughtering those who oppose their views. Earth and all it's life was a victim of their ongoing conquests, and they had no way to fight the more advanced and physically capable gems, so they were forced to sit and watch as their home was destroyed by beings they did not understand.


Violent and powerful beyond human comprehension, the Gems were feared and hated, but also respected and viewed upon as beings of other plains coming to punish them because of greed and violence. The Gems supported this, as they revered in the fact that they were considered gods, finding it to be of great pleasure that the puny people they were harming thought there were of a different dimension.



And so the destructive activities went on as the Gems carelessly took the resources of Earth, whether it be for the Kindergarten or other purposes which none but the highest of the Diamond Authority would know about. There seemed to be no one that would be able to stop the Gems and the great power they possessed, and humanity had esentially given up on themselves, accepting the fact that they would succumb to the great and powerful Gems.


But in the middle of all the violence and war, a high ranking Gem by the name of Rose Quartz assembled a large band of followers to strike out against the malevolency of the Diamond Authority, believing that all life should be preserved, no matter how weak they are in comparison to the Gems. A large war broke out, with great battles being fought both inside Earth's atmosphere and out as the Gem Rebellion sacrificed everything, their home, their people, their lives, in exchange for Earth and it's people.



All across the landscape of Earth, Gems clash against one another in the fight for Earth. One blow for another, and The Diamond Authority has had an advantage since the start. As the hatred for the opposing side grows to unbelievable rates, it is clear that there will be no agreements or peace treaties; the war will only end when one side has been wiped off the face of the Earth.


-Rules-



1. The standard stuff; no godmodding, meta gamming, power gaming, etc.



2. At the start of the roleplay, you are permitted to have one gem. This number may be raised as the roleplay goes on. As for humans, you are allowed to have them, and are allowed as many as you can keep track of.



3. For weaponry, attempt to be unique. Notice how none of the gems in the show have overly obvious weapons, excluding Pearl. Garnet has gauntlets, Jasper has a helmet, Amethyst has a whip, and the like. Be creative; have a boomerang for all Rose cares.



4. In terms of unique abilities, such as Jasper's spinning ball attack, you are allowed to make your own, but they must be accepted prior to you being able to use them. Your abilities are capped at three, however fusions[you are NOT allowed to permanetly be a fusion] are permitted a currently undecided number. They are not required to be made upon character creation, and are simply there in case you were feeling extra productive.



5. When reaching the history section in the character sheet, ensure you include things such as which side you're on[can be changed], your 'ranking' in such group, and any other things you feel are worth mentioning, such as being made in a Kindergarten or a rivalry with another gem, and for humans things such as gem encounters, or wishing to help in fighting against the Diamond Authority.



6. If you are a human charater, you will NOT survive a fight against a gem. They are better than you in every single way; strength, ability, powers, everything.



7. If you wish to be a character from the show, you must first ask the admin's permission.

8. For fusions, both rpers must give consent, as well as collaborate on appearance, personality, etc.

Topaz

Appearance:  
Taking the form of a human girl, Topaz in that sense is the same any other Gem. Her skin is a light blue, resembling what a cartoon character might look like if they had a cold. Her physique is bulky, and she's quite tall as well, being a mix of strength as well as intimidation. She stands at around seven feet, though not quite there. Her shadow black hair is short, extending only down to right above her shoulder. Her clothing is pretty warriorish, with her slightly darker blue gem being in the center of her chest, the top portion of a blue diamond above the Gem and the bottom portion below it. 

Weapon:  
When summoning her weapon, it looks like it may be a staff of sorts, but once the blunt end of the hammer is even slightly revealed it is obvious what her weapon is. She takes into battle a large, blue war hammer, with diamonds crested onto the grip of the hammer, and two diamonds on either side of the top part of the hammer. 

Unique Abilities:
Along with the standard gem abilities, such as weapon summoning, transformation, etc., Topaz's hammer can become a drill of sorts, plunging into the ground and burrowing tunnels, with Topaz appearing in the best position to strike her opponent. Along with that, Topaz seems to harbor a higher defense against attacks, taking large blows and still fighting as usual[though this doesn't make her invincible, only slightly increases how much damage she can take before she either surrenders or returns to her gem]. 

History:  
Proudly following the Diamond Authority, Topaz takes pride in her work, and thinks that all beings below the Gems should bow down, letting their homes be destroyed for the sake of Gem kind. She fully supported the use of the Kindergarten, and, like most other Gems, bathed in the satisfaction of being recognized as a god. When learning of the rebellion against the homeworld, Topaz's body filled with rage, hate, and anger. Being of high importance in the Diamond Authority, likely being the equivalent of a lieutenant, and being taught that all that mattered was complete loyalty to the Authority, the idea of leaving the homeworld Gems for a weak planet such as Earth was something that she could have never imagined. She for one thought that the traitors should be given to redemption, and should be cursed to suffer eternal pain as punishment for their betrayal to The Diamond Authority. She longs for the day she can take on a respected member of the rebels to both prove her strength and get revenge on those that betrayed everything they had ever known.

obsidian is a dark-skinned, tall young humanoid with short hair and a fair physique. never the tallest of gems, this thin individual stands at about roughly six four. next to jasper, he's practically a dwarf. his facial structure is made up of chiseled features; a thin, refined nose and strong jawline. unfortunately, it's hard to depict the exact color of his irises, as they are always hidden beneath a strip of cloth that covers his eyes. presumed black. his skin is a fair gray - like that of a gargoyle. the most unusual part about him? he has wings. these are a constant factor, though it's unsure if obsidian's morph forces the wings to be a part of him by choice, or if it's something he can't control. either way; wings. these feathered monstrosities extend from the skin around his gem. he has a set of two, much like a hummingbird. the feathers match the color of his skin. secondarily, he has a long, lizard-like tail that is connected to his tailbone. it's incredibly flexible, like that of a monkey's which allows the he-gem to grab objects as if it were another hand. for clothing, he wears shades of gray. nothing complex - he goes shoeless.

duel claw-like appendages formed of darkness, each one has three protruding nails. the structure wraps around the hand of obsidian, and can additionally be broken off into a weapon similar to that of brass knuckles. this secondary form has sharp nubs studding the knuckle part.

| abilities |

being a gem, obsidian contains all the normal abilities that a gemstone would posses, however he does have a few of his own.

binding: the main offensive power, the he-gem has the ability to stop motion. not time, but he can freeze the trails of motion in his path. much like a snake, he has the ability to constrict and stop any moving thing, in a telekinetic sort of way. this includes objects, humans, and plants alike. the catch? well, they have to be moving. if they're not moving, he can't activate his ability to stop them.

clairvoyance: a lesser ability, obsidian can see into the short-term future. for the most part, the images are rather blurry and hard to make out. on a downside, there's no guarantee that the future he sees is absolute, and therefore the visions can change all the time. visions come to the male at random - he has no control over them. when he sees a vision, he normally looses a few seconds before things speed up again.

sonic scream: must like a bat, obsidian can let loose a sonic call. while this isn't actually offensive, this is his way of 'seeing'. a map is created in his head, which is how he navigates. additionally, his senses are slightly heightened because of his inability to see, though this is nothing extraordinary.

obsidian is a homeworld gem, created back on the planet. as obsidian is formed naturally, he was presumably not created using the process of kindergarten. and even though he has the potential to fuse, he refuses to complete the dance, for some odd reason. he is a homeworld gem and supports the homeworld cause.

Name: Hiddenite



Appearance: Hiddenite takes on a female humanoid figure. She has a slightly muscular and narrow build, and tall compared to a normal human being. She isn't as tall as Garnet, but a little taller than Pearl. Her skin is a very pale green-minty color, and her full lips are a shade darker than her actual skin tone. Her hair is long, thick , wavy-ish, and a dark green in color which is tied up into a high ponytail. She kind of has a half-up-half down hairstyle; a section of it is in a ponytail, the rest is out and about. She has large, beaming eyes and the irises are a very deep green color, though you can barely tell if they're green or black. She also has messy bangs, but they do not cover her eyes. She has a somewhat complex outfit design, though; her outfit is a tight-fitting jumpsuit with a small cutout of a tear-shape on her stomach for decoration. Above that is a larger cutout which reveals her pale-green gemstone, and it is in the chest area. It's kind of where Amethyst's gem is located, yet hers is lower. Her jumpsuit is a normal mint-green color with white. The white is located entirely on the lower portion of her stomach,and the 'pants' of her jumpsuit has a colorblock-like marking; they are a normal mint color, yet they have a white stripe on the sides, giving it the colorblock effect. At the bottom of her 'pants', it fades from mint green to a darker shade. The color of her shoes match up with the dark shade of green and make it look like it is connected with the pantsuit itself. The shoes themselves are simple; they are basically dark green with a black triangular marking at the sole. She wears a choker necklace with a star dangling from it. Lastly are the sleeves of her jumpsuit.They are short-sleeved, though a thin strip of fabric runs down her arm and connects with the glove on her hands. So basically, the sleeves of her jumpsuit are also gloves.
(I hope I made some sort of sense with explaining her outfit; it doesn't LOOK too sophisticated, but when I try to explain the appearance of it, everything goes haywire :C)


Weapon: She has a Morning Star-flail type thing. Basically it is a handle with a chain that is connected to a large, spiked ball. She can extend the chain at will and the handle of the flail has small green little shards of Hiddenite on it.



Unique Abilities:
She can manipulate/project acid from her palms and choose how 'acididc' it is. For example, she can make the acid to the point where it actually burns a hole through something, or to the point where it only stings and produces a burning sensation.(don't even question how this works, this takes place on a cartoon for crying out loud, so screw logic....) Hiddenite never uses her acid at it's most powerful when fighting another gem though. She is also immune to getting burned by any chemcial/ she can't be burned with fire. This plays a major role with her being able to use her acid.



History:
uh I'm bad with making bios/histories.... wip for now because I really suck

Also just in case you forgot, they don't actually refer to themselves as the Crystal Gems until later, as when they mentioned the Crystal Gems to Peridot she had evidently never heard of them.

Appearance:


Gem: Indicolite. It's a triangular shape.

Weapon: Slingshot. Her ammo is magic. (just sort of like pearl's spear blast thingies? idk)

Unique Abilities: amazing aim. extrasensory perception. lmao idk will probably think of one more later

History: She's a part of Rose Quartz's army, thinking the gem's treatment of Earth and all it's things as being unfair. Though, she's actually pretty low ranking, her not being very big, weak, young and unskilled compared to other older gems. Her age is of a mere thousand.
