Yea, you should join, Hype. //
Sliding into the control panel of the small vessel, the dark-skin he-gem fiddled with the various dials that made up the navigation system. His face was passive as he steered the small transport ship towards the looming planet, in which the supposed war was going on. But who was he kidding, this was the Diamond Authority the suspected rebels were going up against; they wouldn't have the chance to win. After breaking the cover of the atmosphere, the vessel began to heat up as it descended, looking almost like a falling meteor from the ground.

Emerald looked into the sky, and saw what at first looked like a meteor. However, upon closer inspection, she came to the conclusion that it was, in fact, another homeworld ship. She wondered who else was sent to this planet.

Obsidian steeled himself for the impact, knowing beforehand that it would likely knock the wind out of him. Even with all of his years of preparation, it was moments such as these when he still managed to be caught off guard. He really hated landings, for his ship didn't have a built-in system that would make the transition smoother. As the small ship hurled into the earth, sending chunks of dirt and rock every where, the sturdy gem was hurled forward in his seat, though managed to grip to the edge with his claws. After collision, the small vessel skidded a few more feet, before finally coming to a stop. After pulling away from the navigation system, Obsidian got to his feet, before popping the upwards latch on the vehicle to let himself out. Luckily, as his figure met the son, the bright rays of light didn't effect him, given the fact that he was both blind, and had a black cloth over his eyelids. Opening his mouth to release a sonic scream, the homeworld gem began to gather information on the terrain around him, for use in the future.

The other ship's landing was noticeably much less smoother than Emerald's ship. As she finished up investigating her current surroundings, she moved on in the direction of the other ship.

(I literally don't know what to post <:C) A bad feeling wrenched and turned about in Hiddenite's stomach. She didn't know why she felt like this, but she just felt like she wasn't safe. What are you worrying about? There's nothing here to harm you. She thought as she pushed off of the tree she was slumped against. Or, at least she thought that nothing would harm her. She shifted away from the area she was originally at, trying to brush off this strange feeling. Yet somewhere in her, it still seemed to linger. (oh god I don't even know....)

Suddenly, Emerald stopped. She could almost sense a presence nearby. Carefully, she looked around. There were no clouds in the sky, and the stars were out. It had been a long time since she had seen a sky as beautiful as this. Certainly not on homeworld.

Walking away from the wreckage of his ship, Obsidian didn't waste his time on lingering around the crash site. It was a waste of time, and in his books, time was a resource.. not something to be casually thrown around. After all, every being only had so much of it, and the he-gem wanted to make best of his before the rug was pulled out under him. In the smoke of the vehicle, the dark -skinned gem looked almost threatening, with a semi-permanent scowl situation on his rugged features. Slowly rotating in a circle, he began to send out more sonic pulses to categorize what he had learned.

(hey!! if it's fine to do this... um. tfw i forgot to rp) (I literally don't know what to post <:C) A bad feeling wrenched and turned about in Hiddenite's stomach. She shifted away from the area she was originally at, trying to brush off this strange feeling. Yet somewhere in her, it still seemed to linger. (oh god I don't even know....) Indicolite heard someone approach where she was, and turned. "Hiddenite?" she called, identifying the gem quickly, "Do you think, some more, uh, gems might be coming? Sorry for the odd question, but um..." They didn't talk much, but she did see her quite often before, and has heard her name through plenty of mouths. It was an odd question to ask, but Indicolite could have sworn she saw some ships going down, mostly looking like comets; she was too far to really distinguish what she saw, but she had an odd feeling. It wasn't completely unlikely, but then again, it could just be her imagination. Indicolite was conflicted. But she was glad to see another face close by.

Hiddenite was slightly startled by the familiar voice. It was Indicolite. "It isn't an odd question at all; I, too, feel like there is something else out here. Though I don't exactly know if it is an actual gem..." She spoke, her normally-beaming expression fading into a worried look. She felt glad that she wasn't the only one having these strange... feelings. Now it became more evident that it wasn't just her. Maybe there was something out there. Maybe not even something, but someone. A slight chill had crawled up her spine at this thought.

Upon determining that the other presence she had felt was nothing, Emerald decided to keep moving. She had seen another home world ship land, and wanted to group up fast. There is strength in numbers, and she has no idea what she may encounter. As she neared the landing site, she felt/heard some form of sonic pulse. The only gem she knew of with that ability was Obsidian, a he-gem. She broke into a jog, in order to get to her destination faster.

How would Emerald feel the sonic pulse? It's echolocation. [ meant to be undetectable by the normal senses ] .//
Moving away from his ship, Obsidian continued to use his echolocation to choreograph the environment around him. He frowned, pivoting on his feet. To his left, the he-gem could detect some sort of large body of water. That was surely something he could note later, for potential uses. Setting his course south, he moved away from his downed vehicle, as it would surely cause attention that he would not be fond of getting. The pace he set was fast, in order to cover the most ground in the least time possible.

(Doesn't echolocation require sound?)

Uhm, maybe. I don't know the specifics. I think it would be a short of soft clicking sound, made with the tongue. //

"Y- yeah," Indicolite murmured as she nodded solemnly, "I dunno, it might just be us, but for some reason, I just can't shake that feeling it might just be another gem, or two, or three, or who knows." She shrugged with uncertainty. Afterwards a few moments of thinking, she slowly got up from the rock, standing up. "... Would it make you feel better if we checked it out or something, even for just a few moments?" she asked, "I think it would for me, at least."

(So the Sonic Scream doesn't actually require any screaming?)

I didn't mean to phrase it as a sonic scream, sorry, xD. I couldn't think of echolocation at the time. But no, it doesn't. //

After a slight pause after what Indicolite had said, she then said, "That sounds like a good idea." She pushed herself away from the tree she was slumped against. She really hoped that what they were fretting about wasn't anything big. She hoped that it was just their imagination or something. (burn this post with fire ew)
