It's so loud that the annoying noise lasts for weeks before and after the fact.
People take their kids to watch deafening explosions light up the sky.
Everybody thinks that it's all about grilling and fireworks, and nobody really cares what it's actually about.
Not everybody even knows what the heck they're celebrating.
I don't really give a damn about the USA's independence; heck, I want to go back to either Austria or Germany as soon as I get the chance. Way the heck out of here and back into where my ancestors lived.
...I don't really like this holiday anymore

The United States of America is frequently referred to as America in contexts that are both formal and informal. The "United States of" part is only there as a title, like the "United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland" instead of "Britain" or the "Swiss Confederation" instead of "Switzerland". If you bitch about people from the United States of America have to call it the United States, then that means that we'd have to apply that to all these other countries as well. Additionally, I never see any New Zealanders bitch about Australians calling themselves Australia because it's the name of the continent - It seems to be a thing exclusive to the American continents. |

i hate them so much
i hate loud noises and things that light up the sky that could possibly injure someone
bad thing is that my aunt and my cousins are coming over today with some illegal fireworks
