[-CS-]
Name: Alvanax
Gender: Does a god really have a gender? Being a ghost, Alvanax isn't going to be reproducing, but you can call Alvanax male.
Mortal Appearance: A ghostly man, faded and near-transparent.
Preferred Magic Types: Illusion and Transmutation. Specifically, turning hapless mortals into monsters of the Weird, which are very strong and very tough, and usually have some kind of special trait such as floating through the air or being able to walk through walls(I'll tell you specifically what for each thing), but taking a great deal of energy to create and maintain.
Starting Biome: A cave, deep underground. The ground shook violently as large cracks in the land formed, your dungeon being in the center of it. The circular pit where your 'soul' was stored glows a dark blue as a strange mist emerges from it, taking the shape of a faded and transparent humanoid. A large explosion sends one more violent shake, and suddenly you snap into consciousness, standing in the core of your dungeon. Hallways that are breaking away with the wooden supports falling are on every side of you. Skeletons lay on the floor, armor and blade near their corpse.

I am awakened once more. It is but a sliver of my true power, but it is enough. I am free once more, and the Weird will be unleashed upon Kratalis!
The first thing I must do is gather minions. The Weird requires living things to steal the life essence from, and these skeletons are less than useless. I will venture to the outside, alert for anything that may provide sustenance for simple workers.

You exit your cave, emerging into a plains. In the distance you can see a major city with massive walls. The city would likely have some sort of outer living for farmers, great stretches of lands that remain unprotected. You could go there, and find farmers that would be unable to protect themselves. Alternatively, you can search for the homes of other species, such as dwarves or elves, if you'd think they'd better suit your cause.

Farmers will do nicely, for now. Their livestock has weaker life essence, but it can provide sustenance for weaker workers suited to manual labor, as well as Ghouls to act as my first warriors.
(Laborers: Weak workers that really can't fight. They last a long time, even if made from livestock such as pigs or cows.) (Ghouls: Weak-ish fighters that move fast and can rip a man to shreds in the time it takes to say "what's that?", but aren't very durable. Ghouls do last a long time before fading away, and can be made from livestock such as pigs or cows.)

You turn about half of the farmers into your servants, however in able to not arise too much suspicion you take what you can and return to your cave. Your 15 laborers await your orders.

Give my laborers the order to start clearing out the cave. While we wait in secret, we are safe.

The farmers are noticed as missing. However, rather than suspecting the supernatural, it is thought to have been caused by a serial killer maniac. Meanwhile, the laborers begin to clear out the cave, moving skeletons into a pile, repairing the structural supports, things like that. At the moment, the entrance to your dungeon is not very hidden. Your illusion magic will hopefully provide some way to hide it, but it can't be something that randomly pops out in the middle of nowhere.

I will disguise the entrance to the cave as a thick grove of small, young trees, short enough to that they would not be seen from a distance.

The trees will provide a suitable source of concealment, allowing you to remain hidden as long as you don't openly reveal yourself.

Order my laborers to continue clearing out and repairing this place. We must find suitable places for breeding pens and prisons.

The area is basically cleaned out now, the exceptions being a few cob webs here and there.

Set up cages where we can keep animals and humans to be used later. I myself will go and return to the farmers as their "serial killer maniac", this time creating Ghouls for my new army.

You take the lives of the rest of the farmers, and some conspiracists begin to suggest supernatural powers. They are regarded as insane, however, so your awareness increases only slightly.
Your army is now as such:
14 Laborers
16 Ghouls

Sixteen will be... enough. Barely. With myself at the head, I believe the Ghouls and I can take a small, relatively undefended village. We must take as many prisoners as possible, eviscerating only those who resist, and letting the others wallow in their terror.

Your ghouls ready themselves as the laborers await for any orders.

Are the cages to hold any prisoners we take completed yet? They are required, even if the bars are made out of simple wood and stone.

They are completed, so for the moment your laborers are idle. If you wish for a list of the buildings required to further your quest to domination in general, of my own creation, feel free to ask. Otherwise, you are permitted to make your own buildings to further your own plans.

Good. Before I depart, I will order the Laborers to build an Essence Chamber, so that I can draw the life essence from multiple bodies to create one, extremely powerful creature, or simply better direct the transfer of life essence so the Weird creatures last longer.

They begin working on the Essence Chamber in a large room to allow for beings of great size to be forged inside of it. Your ghouls are ready for battle.

We will assault a weak village, using speed and intimidation to gather as many prisoners as possible, while gutting those who resist as examples. Afterwards, we must disguise our assault by bringing in the laborers for a short time and tasking them to fake a major earthquake.

The task is difficult, but eventually you gather enough prisoners to build a small army of ghouls and laborers, though nothing in comparison to your previous army. The laborers work hard to set off a major earthquake, which works somewhat well however they missed out on some details. More speculation about super natural forces spread, but most believe the earthquake lie.

This is good. With more Ghouls, we can begin assaulting larger and larger towns. Have some of my Ghouls take the prisoners to the cages, while the rest continue on to another village. We need as many prisoners as possible, as soon as possible.

You progress throughout two more villages before it would be unwise to continue. Awareness is increasing.

Draw back, and bring the new prisoners to the cages. A new army shall be built, using their life essence, and I shall rise up again. Once the Essence Chamber is completed, we may begin.
First, however, some organization must be done. Separate the prisoners into groups: The largest holding normal people, those with nothing special about them. Another, most likely the smallest, holding leaders, warriors, and any with magic running through their blood. A third for children, and a fourth for childbearing women.

They are separated into the groups. The warriors attempt to fight back, trying to get back to their wives and children, but are pushed into their cages.
