Precison, wearing a cape of gold silk and a bandanna unsheathes his rapier. He swiftly stabs the forum in the heart, killing it as it's body slowly fell to the ground.
The Forum died. .-.

Eh, just ignore him. The likes of him and Ultraelite are just ignorant. The RP forum is more likely to die now than this one is.

Hah. This forum stands tall, the last remaining beacon of hope in a bleak and dreary wilderness of pain and suffering.

We're more or less not dead.

Aha, I was right. Maybe I was in the future.

We seem to have at least a few years left, at the very least. I give it 2-3 years, maybe more if anyone else comes back for the nostalgia like I did. It's kind of sad to see, just because of the attachment I used to have to this group, but I honestly don't think I'll miss it too much when it dies.

Lots of us remaining are doing so because we don't have any other friends to go to instead (I'm in that position, for instance), and I doubt any of the core group who've basically never been inactive will be quick at all to abandon the five-year friendships that this site represents even if they had other friends (which some do, I'm sure). But you're right that nostalgia visits will definitely help this place out. Stick around for a while to see who comes back next for a nostalgia trip - Katt was here about a month ago, and now you're back, so they seem to happen with some degree of regularity.

I plan to, at least until I get busy again and end up forgetting to check in here. The reason I don't think it'll last too long though, is just the fact that things like college and adulthood are on their way, and they aren't very far off. I guess it might not completely die then, but I don't think it'll be active at all once that point reaches all of us.

I do have plenty of other friends that I spend a lot of time interacting with. But I’ve also got friends here, or at least people I can interact with (there’s also some on that Discord which I should probably communicate on more, I’m not sure) and I like that. It’s nice to come on here and RP or whatever. Some people have gone which has stagnated the activity here a bit but it isn’t dead yet. Maybe a couple more years, I’m not sure.
I actually think that I would have left if the Roblox forums had stayed and we still used them. There was a point a few years ago where I only went on the forums to post on PW and I was only doing that every couple of days. I had just grown to resent those forums for some reason. I was probably at the end of school or start of uni at that point so had other things going on. But those forums died and I got active again.
You’re right Sk8, those things are coming. They do take a lot of time and they will make us less active. That’s just how it goes.

I'd say the majority of the regulars here qualify as adults, and several of us are either right about to, or already have started college. The forum's posts are sparse but not nonexistent, and it's held a half-dead state for a surprising amount of time. It seems relatively stable.

I mean, if you choose to count college students as adults - I'm legally old enough to drink, drive, have sex, get married, vote, take out a loan, enlist in the army (or be drafted if I was a Singaporean citizen instead of a green card holder), smoke cigarettes and be tried as an adult in court (but hopefully not all at the same time!). On the other hand, college isn't the same as having a full-time job, living on your own and all the stuff that people do for the rest of adulthood - it's sort of an in-between time.

Meh. Life is just an in-between time anyway. I'll stop coming here under one of two conditions: Either it dies, or I do.

We're basically old people living in a retirement home?
