Duck Boulevard Donation Thread

Now that Bird City is up and running it is time for the construction work on the wonderous Duck Boulevard to commence (Hopefully with Budgie's permission). Of course that means I need funds (not that I can't pay it outright already) and it will be great if some of you, especially those who wish to take residence on this street would help with donations. Of course I will be footing 1,000-2,000 on this street straight away but what you pay now decides how quickly other amenities appear on the street. Plus I also will need to pay for potholes and stuff along the way. 

Perks you will receive are based on how much you pay though of course a general donation is also allowed.

500 posts will reduce your weekly rent total on all houses you wish to buy on this street. Orginally rent would be around 75-100 but for those who pay now it will be  reduced to 25 posts. (Subject to change depending on the allowance of rent and the economy can change at times.)

1,000 will give you access to the swimming pool at the end of the road. A very exclusive place indeed which in itself will undergo development at a future point in time. Of course access will still be permitted to this place after the donating period is over but pay now and it will be cheaper than you may find it at a later point in time. 

I hope you consider donating as this Boulevard looks to be the best neighbourhood in all the lands.

You do know that you'd have to pay 1,000 to make the swimming pool as well, right? So essentially you're asking for 11K, which you can already afford with nearly enough cash to buy a second neighborhood entirely?

I thought the swimming pool would be worth more. But yeah, I know. If I give people the chance to donate though they can get the perks. Besides I'm already committing around 2,000 to it. I may get donations, I may not but its worth trying.

I know a guy who can theoretically afford to buy two entire cities or (at least) thirteen entire neighborhoods should he want to and should he make an account.

It's not a significant amount, Duck - You could purchase Duck Boulevard and still have 10K to spare.

I know. But then people will have to pay extra to get into the pool and pay extra rent.

So? Nobody's willing to donate anyway.
