The Black Diamond Lounge is a club that only allows the richest of the rich through its doors. The top floor of the prestigious Platinum Viper casino, this lounge allows people in such as high-rollers, high-profile businessmen, and former CEOs and world leaders.
The Lounge has glass walls, giving a stunning view of the Las Vegas skyline. The room is fairly large, taking up the building's entire top floor. The doorway into the club is made of a fine mahogany, and has gold decorations around the corners of the double doors. In front of the double doors is a golden plaque: 'The Black Diamond Lounge, for membership by invitation only.' On the plaque as well as on the gold trims on the doors are several black diamonds, adding to the swirling design of the trim.
As you step into the Lounge, the immediate thing you will notice is the set of game tables: two Single-Zero Roulette tables, six Poker tables of several varieties, two Blackjack tables, and two Craps tables. What you'll also notice is the chip denominations used by these men. The minimum bet in the Black Diamond tables is 1,000,000 dollars, and chip denominations are made as high as 1,000,000,000 dollars. The tables are made of mahogany wood like the door, with the tops of the tables made of a black fabric with the table prints in gold color. It has gold trim matching the door, as well as the black diamonds. The floor in the table section of the room is hardwood floor, made of oak planks of a lighter shade.
At the center of the lounge is a circular bar. A thick pillar of mahogany about 20 feet in diameter comes up in the center of the room, and shelves with various types of alcohol such a liquor, wine, and whiskeys are set on this pillar. The bar is made of the same mahogany, and has a gold trim with a swirling pattern similar to the door. The bar chairs are high chairs with low back rests. The chairs are made of mahogany with black cushioning on the seat and back. 25 chairs in total sit around the circular bar. As always, the trim has those trademark black diamonds.
To the opposite side of the room from the game tables are several lounge tables and chairs. The tables and chairs are made from mahogany like the bar and door, and have the same gold trim with black diamonds as well. Adjoining the lounge room is a kitchen that serves a variety of high-class meals to the people in the part of the room. This area also doubles as a cigar lounge, and a few men can often be seen smoking Cubans here.
In the back end of the club, opposite to the door, is a fountain made of marble. It has 3 tiers, and at the top is a sculpture of a woman in a dress standing up straight with her hands holding a ancient-style water carrying jar over her head, tipping it out in front of her. Most interestingly of all, however, is that instead of water flowing through the fountain, fine red wine, over 50 years old, courses through this fountain. The wine is offered free as a courtesy to lounge members, and lounge members can grab a wine glass and take a drink straight from the fountain.
The exit door to the lounge is also decorated much like the double entry doors, but is instead a much smaller single door. On the door, another plaque reads 'Thank you for visiting the Black Diamond Lounge. Come again soon.'
