bannanachair.proboards.com/thread/207/galaxy-isrp-signupsYour alarm goes off. You wake up, looking at the ceiling of your C4 apartment, the white paint flaking a little bit. If you had any money and weren't so seriously indebted to the bank, you'd probably either fix this place up or just get a better apartment in general. But as it is, you're not in a bad situation - Sure, you're in debt, but you have a spaceship! None of your friends can say that about themselves! Today, however, you have a job interview - The third most influential drug organization in Priedcaster, the Ochoa Cartel, needs a man of your particular skills and knowledge, as they intend to go from the slums to the slightly wealthier neighbourhoods in Priedcaster - including the neighbourhood where you grew up. Additionally, while most of their people are workers at the Uranium mines, fired when the Kinjo Uranium Corp. was acquired by Pearson Industrial, you're an ex-cop, and so you may still remember some of the patrol details. Of course, you're not actually an ex-cop - You spent some time as a traffic cop, before acting as an officer in drug raids, before being reassigned to the undercover department of the PCPD. Upon being reassigned, however, so that nobody may accidentally recognize you, you took bribes from a minor drug lord and were 'fired', being fined in courts as well for your crime but the fine being taken care of by the drug lord who you saved. Taking a bribe and getting fired from the PCPD allowed you to enter the criminal underworld of Priedcaster, where you've been embedded for several years as an informant. Browse through my wardrobe to find a suit with posh boots and a tie. If he wants this interview to go well, he might as well dress professionally to maybe get a better pay.

(I thought we were copy-pasting everything from ROBLOX.)
This is the first time you're meeting this druglord, and all you were given by your contacts is an address. It's not uncommon for someone in this position to bring one or two friends as backup in the event things go south, if you want to call up some of your other contacts.
The address is simply a pair of numbers, intended to be read as a coordinate plane indicating the street and avenue of what is likely an abandoned warehouse. (22,6) are the coordinates. Additionally, it's an abandoned warehouse that you're likely to be entering, street clothes would likely be a little more inconspicuous.

Rethinking my actions, I decide to shutter off the clothing and put on something more casual. I put on a white poloshirt with green & blue stripes. I put on some khaki cargo-shorts and roll on a wristband that I got for donating to a breast-cancer awareness foundation. It shows my support for boobies. Slip my taser into the left-hand pocket in my cargos just incase this deal goes wrong. Walking outside of my apartment, I hail a taxi and ask to be transported to the coordinates.

Alright. You leave your bedroom, leave your apartment, walk down the hallway, go down forty four floors worth of apartment building, and take a taxi five blocks to get to your destination (and are in turn charged 25 credits). The building in question appears to be an old factory from both the inside and out. You can't see many people, though, on the inside of the building. You realize that you're a few minutes early, due to the clock that's hung up on one of the walls here.

All the walls are grey, and the floor's covered in dust. The room's not lit at all other than some skylights. All around there are some conveyor belts, chairs, and some random dust-covered equipment. In fact, the only thing here that doesn't look old and worn down is you, an the only sections of floor without dust are where your shoeprints are on the floor.
Just as you consider that you got the wrong address and should leave, the door opens again, and in comes a rather tall looking man, with a muscular build. He's wearing a zipped up hoodie and jeans, with the hood over his face and a pair of sunglasses so that security cameras, if there are any here, can't see his face. However, underneath the hoodie you can see parts of his well-trimmed beard in the style called "anchor" after an ancient part of a boat. From the beard, you can see that he has dark hair, and from his ungloved hands, you can clearly see that he's of a minority ethnic group.
On either side of the man two guards enter the room and spread out in a defensible formation, with a total of four guards. After the first five men enter, two men enter, carrying metal carts, completely opaque and likely bulletproof with a padlock on top that clearly requires a key to unlock.
"Jarvis Knott, I presume?" Asks the man with the anchor beard, who you can only presume is Korbin Ochoa, the head of the Ochoa drug cartel.

The guards are holding assault rifles, likely lethal. The guns are most likely armed with bullets, which some simple bulletproof armour should take care of.
"Good to meet you, Jarvis," Says the man, "My name is Armando Ochoa." You recognize the name as Korbin Ochoa's nephew, the fifth in command in the Ochoa Cartel, and one of their most cunning strategists (more information down below). "Tell me Jarvis, have you ever heard of Bolorpactsim? Often referred to on the streets as Red Salt?" asks Armando.
The druglord's nephew proceeds to get a key out of his pocket and open one of the carts. Inside the 5x3x2 ft cart are thirty wooden crates, each a cubic foot in size, which Armando grabs one of. Opening the crate, you see stacked on one another are little glass jars separated by a small sheet of wood. Each jar is about 1 inch in diametre and three inches tall, meaning that in the wooden crate there are 576 of the jars, and in the cart there are over seventeen thousand - And there are two carts. Inside of all the glass capsules (that you can see) is a red, salt-like material, which you immediately recognize as the drug in question.
ARMANDO OCHOA II
Armando Ochoa, son of his father by the same name, was the oldest of three brothers, and his father the youngest of three. His family has been in charge of this cartel since Ochoa's grandfather, Alvaro, formed it. At the time of Armando's birth, he was ninth in line for the position of head of the Cartel - Alvaro, Korbin, Korbin's three children, Ericka (Korbin and Armando I's sister), Ericka's daughter and his own father being ahead of him.
From a young age, Armando Ochoa II knew that "ninth in command of the fourth most influential cartel in a small city" was an insignificant title, and he sought to amend that. Due to the fact that he is a 'good citizen of Priedcaster', he decided to testify against what was at the time the second most influential cartel in Priedcaster, quickly becoming allies with new new second and quite a number of smaller gangs hoping to extend their influence - And his own family aided him in this as well, seeing that it was goo for business.
When his grandfather passed away under mysterious circumstances shortly afterwards leaving Korbin as the head of the Cartel, Armando was the eighth in command of the third most influential in a small city. Realizing that he could do better, and that his father lived in a dangerous building, a known fire hazard, he decided to instate some of his own security to help protect his father in the event of an emergency. There was a fire shortly later, and the security that he hired suddenly became quite a bit richer.
It happened to help him that one of Korbin's kids killed his own brother, who was sloppy at hiding evidence and proceeded to get arrested, allowing Armando to rise in rank twiceover. Temporarily content with his current rank, he decided to consolidate his resources and invest in his own security, especially when one of his brothers dropped dead under mysterious circumstances.
RED SALT
Red Salt is the street name for an illegal pain-inducing drug, which many people on the street add to their food in an attempt to make themselves resilient to pain. It is incredibly addictive and overdoses can lead to hallucinations, internal bleeding and even potentially death, but despite this, it still has a large market in poor neighborhoods and high prices, leading to many home break-ins and whatnot. Chances are Armando wants to move up the social ladder and start selling to C4s and C5s rather than C1s, C2s and C3s, which will help him maintain a steady income.

"During my time as an officer, I spotted the drug's name once or twice." Casually, I walk over to the cars and hold up a jar, examining it. I flick the bottom of the jar and the put it back where it originally was.

"You know the patrol details better than most other guys I can attempt to hire," Armando begins, "And you have contacts in the police department. Additionally, the leader of another organization such as ours - albeit a minor one - owes you his life, which will prove rather valuable as well. Yes, I want you to sell this, but I also want intel such that my other dealers may be as successful as yourself. I want you to charge two hundred credits for each one of these vials, and at the end of the month, I want fifty credits for each vial you sold in a briefcase along with the leftover. In return, I'll offer you protection from the bank should business in the new neighborhoods not go as good as planned."
Armando holds out his hand to make it official, before continuing, as if he'd just remembered something. "Ah yes, I should add that if there is any evidence that you steal any Red Salt for yourself, I'll drop your protection against the bank, order my men to shoot you if you ever enter my turf and make sure that you do not get any other similar employment opportunities on threat of death for your next employer." From his tone of voice, and the four guards all around you, you know that he means everything that he's saying.

After shaking your hand, Armando makes some hand signals and three crates of red salt are stacked up outside of the carts, in front of you. "I trust your judgement in choosing two others to assist with this operation - The faster we can claim these neighborhoods, the more influential my family shall be."
"I feel I should add that your job right now is a scouting mission," Armando continues after a short break, "And that in three months, depending on the outcome of your job, I will get a team of twelve men that will work with you, with your two chosen being your right hand men. As for your question, the crates are relatively light, but I think that this factory would make a good base of operations anyway due to how abandoned it is."

As they load the crates, I examine Armando quickly to see if he has a firearm on him, but I don't make it so suspicious that I make it aware to the guards that I am planning something.

Armando does not appear to have a firearm on him, although there's a bulge in one of his pockets that may be a switchblade or a knife of some other sort. Besides, don't forget about the security guards that he has on him, all of whom are armed with assault rifles that are probably loaded with bullets - And there are four of those guards. Anything that you might have planned to take him down, though, will have to wait, for as his men are unpacking the boxes of Red Salt he begins to take his leave, followed by his men that are carrying the drugs and then the guards.
After that, you're left alone with three wooden crates of Red Salt. Time to choose some men to help you with your new job, I guess.
