Basically for all that celebrate, when do you start celebrating Christmas? I personally like to start November 1st mixing Christmas in regularly (for myself, not when others are listening), and let my celebration slowly build up. I've been excited for the season for a while now, partly because last year was the best Christmas I've had in a minute.
Also, in regards to Christmas music, I don't get finding it all extremely annoying. I've worked fast food and we played the same songs over and over all season, but I enjoyed it. I also have a fairly wide range of Christmas music, so that helps I guess.

I have a personal issue with thanksgiving, so I completely ignore thanksgiving and get excited for X-mas immediately after Halloween.
And for xmas music, I hate hearing the same one over and over again. The only ones I love listening to is: - Please Come Home for Xmas by The Eagles - Last Christmas by Wham - Chestnuts Roasting on an Openfire
and then the occasional Rudolph, lol

I love Halloween, I love Christmas. I don't like any holidays that celebrate genocides, however, so fuck Thanksgiving.
So I'll generally start doing Christmasy stuff at some point in November (I like doing a couple Halloween days before and after the day itself as well; I put a lot of effort into my costumes and one day just isn't enough).
I'm a big fan of the older Christmas music - Bing Crosby has an album that I like, for instance.

Yeah I feel the whole thanksgiving thing, my family celebrates though and I might as well get some food.
I'm really excited because it started snowing today, and that really helped boost the Christmas vibe. If you guys are looking for more Christmas stuff, the Spotify playlists are pretty good (Indie Christmas is pretty good, it's how I got into Sufjan Stevens).
And with Halloween, I personally find myself less interested with the holiday by the year, although those 30s-50s horror movies are pretty good.

The other thing about Thanksgiving is that I just legitimately don't like Thanksgiving food. I used to rather dislike football as well, though now it's more just apathy. Also there's the aforementioned genocide. Thanksgiving just really isn't the holiday for me.
Halloween's very much one of those holidays that are what you make of them. Personally, I like dressing up in a costume and just going to class and seeing how my professors and classmates react. I like sneaking up on people in a spooky costume down by the abandoned train tracks and scaring the shit out of them. I like the effort that goes into DIYing a good costume. I like candy and old movies too. That said, there have been years that I haven't really done much for Halloween, and it also very much depends on what people around you are doing - nobody in Singapore really celebrated Halloween as I got older, and combining that with my mother's anti-Halloween rhetoric (long story) the last couple years that I lived there I just didn't really put much effort into it at all.
I did not know that Sufjan Stevens made Christmas music. I will definitely be listening to that tonight.

Halloween is my favorite holiday, I love spookifying everything, wearing costumes, going to haunted houses, playing horror games. I am a huge fan of the horror genre, so it's nice to have a whole month where it's culturally appropriate to celebrate it. I can't wait to have my own house someday just for the fact that I'm gonna make it the scariest house on the block during October.
Halloween this year was unfortunate, however, mainly cause of the pandemic. Not much to celebrate, but I did watch a lot of horror movies and played this co-op game called Phasmophobia with my friends. 11/10 would recommend.

I don't really know why I never was into it quite as much. I mean I enjoyed dressing up, and I liked the candy. I went through a big horror phase in 3rd grade, and I was a typical post hardcore/emo kid during 8th/9th grade (My Chem, From First to Last, Thursday, all of that). Even when I was obsessed with all of that dark imagery, I just didn't care about Halloween. At least it's not Columbus Day I guess.

Thanksgiving is a weird one. Never celebrated it being a Brit who lives in Australia, it’s just not really part of our culture. As for Christmas we usually start with that at the beginning of December.
