If your roblox account is old and has not been logged into for a while - Or if you simply don't have 2FA turned on - Please take a moment and change your password! A lot of accounts are getting botted into, even if you haven't clicked on any suspicious links, possibly due to an old data leak of password lists. (which is why old inactive accounts are getting hit!)
This is a PSA for those who do not want their accounts compromised. If you do not care about your old roblox accounts, feel free to ignore this message.
DETAILS:
Most of the accounts that have been compromised have not been irrecoverable. You can still log in as normal, but there's someone else in your account (likely a bot.) This bot sends scam messages to everyone in your friends list, hoping to lure more people in, but this is not how they took hold of the original accounts - it's just phase two.
The bot messages will usually look something like this:

Also seen in the messages have been: Links to robux scam sites; Advertisements for Donald Trump (I wish I was kidding)
If your account has been compromised and is not recovered within the first day, they're likely to send a second or third wave of botted messages, so it's best if you catch it early.
Some roblox youtubers have made videos on it, Konekokitten's a big one -
I don't expect most of you to keep up with roblox much anymore, so this is a PSA! Keep your accounts safe! Or if you're like me and have way too many old alts you don't even remember... At least keep the important ones safe. Alright!
