I just started my first day of classes today and it's going great. I swapped one of my courses already (differential calculus for integral calculus, for those who care), but other than that I don't have any plans to swap any more classes.

Great to hear Tim, being able to choose your units/classes is one of the best things about uni.

It really isn’t fun compared to learning in person.

Except I'm actually trying to do my classes. My math class looks like the only one I'm going to pass, to be honest.

College now sucks. I hate online learning. College now no longer sucks. My grades took a bit of a dip due to online learning, but they're back - this semester is now the second in a row I expect to be able to make Deans List. I banter with some of my professors (especially Alden, who I'm convinced got his PhD when he was like 12 and is actually the same age as most undergrads nowadays, even though he claims he got his PhD at a normal age and that he's like 35). I have a job each semester as a TA for calculus, and next semester I'll be in four advanced math classes (topology, real analysis II, commutative algebra II, graph theory) and a mid-level programming course. My life is finally, for once, in a good place.

Online learning can be great, but only if the professor knows what they're doing. With Covid, unfortunately a lot of teachers/professors were forced into it having zero experience with it.
I took some courses a few years back from MSU via Coursera and, since that's voluntary instructors, it was a great way to learn Python.

This semester was awesome for me. I got straight A's, and I actually didn't feel stressed at all. Maybe it's because I only took 14 hrs, but I think I was able to manage my time this semester better.
I really love being at college, and I'm thinking about going to get my master's when I graduate.

I'm tired of school. There's so many random bullshit requirements I need to do to finish my degree; my school won't let me graduate without both a major and a minor, so I'm barely doing any math my last semester. That said, I'll still be in a harmonic analysis class, and doing an entire minor in one semester will be challenging but fun (quantum computing, turing machines and I'm retaking intermediate programming, as well as a course about human brains that treats them like computers). After that... I'll be done. I'm putting in applications to do PhDs in mathematics at various schools, though, so I might have another five or six years before I'm actually done, but I'll be done with my current shitty school.

And I'm done. I mean, I need to take a summer class in CS to transfer in in order to finish the minor, but I'm otherwise done, having had my last final earlier today.
Onto grad school!

And now I'm *actually* done! Yay! Congratulations on finishing grad! Got your next destination all lined up? I'm starting my PhD in a week. I have an apartment and a stipend and all sorts of things lined up, and I'm going to be teaching the math-for-business class at the university I'm at now. And I've moved to the midwest.
