According to my neuropsychological testing, I have an impaired ability (0.1% percentile) to determine people's emotions based on their facial expressions, below average ability to determine their emotions based on the prosody of their voice (between 9% and 25%, hopefully towards the higher end but probably not knowing me) and an impaired ability to use facial expressions and prosody in combination to determine their emotions (1%).
Overall, I'd say that I did somewhat worse than I had expected, but not significantly - I had anticipated being at around the 20th percentile for everything.

Is this a medical-condition sort of thing, or is it something that you can work on and eventually defeat? Because I hope it's the latter.

What do you mean by "prognosis of about seven months"?

What do you mean by "prognosis of about seven months"? I'm going to die of my terminal Asperger's Syndrome in about seven months.

I'm inclined to believe that Tim's comment was sarcastic because I have found nothing on Aspergers being able to kill.
(If I'm mistaken then I'm mistaken. Not meaning to devalue anyone or their conditions here in case I'm just misinformed. But I wouldn't be surprised if Tim is doing the equivalent of rick rolling Happy right now.)

I looked into it too, and I'm sort of waiting for him to say it was a joke, but I'm really not sure which side could be true.

No, I'm totally not fucking with Happy and Asperger's is definitely a lethal condition.

I can't find any evidence of terminal Asperger's wherever I look. Can you link me to a convincing study or something?

I've already seen the La Times links more than once, Tim. I'm not falling victim to your shenanigans. Also, you should pick Epic Sax Guy or Chocolate Rain a couple times. They may not be better than the classic Rick Roll, but they're at least as good.

I am actually in the 0.1%ile for figuring out people's emotions. I'm also apparently in the 99.7%ile for IQ, so I guess I'm a stereotype.

I didn't actually really like it when I tried reading it the first time, though that could have just been personal preference. Also, I was wrong, that %ile was just for a component of the IQ test. I scored overall 129 (on a test normalised so that 50% of people are above 100 and 50% are below) and my highest for an individual component on verbal reasoning was something in the low 130s, which was in that insane 99.7%ile.
