Hey guys. I am proud to announce a game that I am working on: Summer night. It's currently in its early stages, and as such, I only have it open to a limited number of people. There are five stages in the game as of me posting this; I'm not sure how many there will be in total, but there will definitely be more. It's a story-based puzzle game with moderate horror elements. If you want to play test it before it's released, you need to be my friend on roblox. I will accept requests as long as I know who you are. www.roblox.com/games/1956404020/summer-night-COMING-SOONI would really appreciate some feedback, whether it be praise or criticism or even just confusion. Whatever goes through your head as you're playing it. That way I can adjust things as needed to make the game better. I'm not a skilled scripter, so I can't do everything, but I do promise that I'll do the best that I reasonably can. TIPS: - Turn the sound on for best experience - Follow the game for official updates! - When a tool is equipped, click buttons won't work. --Removed click button in favor of something else - Make sure to explore each world for hidden secrets or items. - New sound = something changed - Roblox's Teleport service lags sometimes. Just give it a minute. - Walk where the silent ghost looks. (For best results, walk through it.) Have fun. :)

Alright.
I haven't played a roblox game in a while but I'll give it a run. I'll send you a friend request.
Just mind that while I'll try to go as far as I can, I'm not really good with horror...
Edit: Oh, and the username's Tikobe. Not really changed.

So, played through it to the end of the fifth stage.
While I don't think it was bad, I will say that for a story-based puzzler with slight horror elements it had some story (Albeit it was very confusing and hard to follow but I suppose that adds to the mystery of things, although I assume that it'll make sense when you develop later stages) but it wasn't very puzzling nor was it somewhat horrifying. Pretty much just explored the same map with slight differences three times with an endless road and a staircase to heaven thrown in. As for secrets I didn't really find many. I found and was able to go through the ghost on all three park maps, found the words on the gravestones, saw the bloody "Forget" sign in the third version and the backwards "help me" in the distance.

Yeah, I'll be adding and editing more as I go along, both to the story and the setting. So far most of the work has been on figuring out how to mash code together until it works script things and not so much on the building aspect of things, but I'll be building something new soon. As for the puzzle aspect, I just didn't want to make it too hard. Guess I could make it a bit less easy in future stages. What did you think about the atmosphere? I've been trying to make it more interesting with lighting and sound. I think I did good, but that's because I'm biased and compare it to earlier versions that weren't as good. Also, fun fact: Roblox makes moon textures go backwards when they're in the sky. I have no idea why they did that; I'm just kind of going with it.

Atmosphere was fine and even enjoyable in most of the maps. My only real gripe was with the second map. The sky was all nice, bright and blue but everything was covered in shadow which was a little disengaging and it made it hard to explore since I couldn't see crap. The only helpful thing about it was that it made it easier to find the grave you had to go to to advance.
