The cave before you expands quite widely, even though it seems to dip down blocking the length of visibility. Inside you see grass and a little vegetation, almost like it was it's own world in there. Braving yourself, you venture inside. At the beginning of the cave you can see all the way up to a rock wall, illuminated by a beam of sunlight shining through a single hole in the cave's ceiling. You, thankfully, were in a much brighter part of the cave, where the sunlight from the caves mouth could still reach before the ceiling blocked out the rest of it. There'd be no point in waiting for the sun to move to a better position for visibility, however. In a few hours the sunlight would be blocked out by another mountain on the opposite side of the valley from where you found this cave.
As you enter you see a rock with a curious insignia engraved upon it. It consists of three straight green lines with two purple lines in between. In the center of those purple lines were red dots, which made it look like red eyes glaring at you from between green bars. Upon further examination, you determine that the green lines are in reference to something called "bamboo," a plant indigenous to the Sonli region. The picture was probably in reference to a hunter in a forest of some sorts, however you rack your brain and you can't remember Sonli using any such insignia. Not to mention, the wear and tear on it would imply that it was quite old, with the colors being slightly faded.
You glance further into the cave but to your shock you find it completely dark. What had happened to the hole in the cave ceiling? You were still standing in front of the branded rock so you could see what was happening around you in that area, but the sunlight shining in through the cave mouth couldn't properly reach far enough in to see if something had blocked it, not to mention you didn't hear anything move around in there.
