I have come to the conclusion that Piratepad is just fucked.
Seriously. I have tried so many times to access various pads, and the only ones that ever have even a chance of loading are the ones that were made and edited no later than a few months ago. There are a few pads that I've created within the past couple of months that literally just disappeared and stopped existing after a day or less. I was smart enough to save the stuff I'd written there to somewhere else, but jesus, what the heck is going on? Not only did every last word I'd typed disappear, but even the pad itself stopped existing. The links I saved go to a page that says "This pad doesn't exist. Would you like to create it?"
And even with pads that were created way earlier than the trouble started up, I've been having difficulty. At first it just wouldn't load if I used incognito- no big deal, just make sure you use the regular browser, right? But then the things I typed stopped saving. Soon I could only type one letter at a time, then reload the page, then type the next letter, in order to get any of it to save. Then the pages stopped loading altogether. Just wait for the timeout, maybe it'll fix itself? Nope. The timeout countdowns got longer and longer every time I checked. Twenty seconds. Thirty seconds. A minute thirty. After the clock ran out, it'd start counting into the negatives and just keep going from there. It wouldn't reload. If you reloaded the page manually, the clock would only show a larger number (whether that be in the negative or the positive.)
And now? Now it either just does that, or doesn't even show a time at all. "The page will automatically reload in UNKNOWN seconds." It just keeps getting worse.
So not only do new pads simply just disappear, and new edits don't seem to save, but I can't even access these things to TELL if they saved or not.
