In the interest of spreading falsehoods, rumors and poor arguments I've decided to make a thread devoted to it (So I won't need to make a thread for every time I come up with one of these as well as making it so that these lies will always be available and not lost in the abyss of the shout box). I encourage you all, my fellow brethren, to spread your own lies and bullshit for the truth... The truth can kiss my ass. I just wanna say weird logic that doesn't make sense. I will start us off: My mother called me a "young man". Is that a good thing? What do we traditionally think of when we hear "young man?" - Fuckboys who nobody likes
- The good guy who always gets friendzoned
- 8 year old boys
Conclusion: Being a "young man" is not a good thing.

Now listen here, young man....
I agree that it's more condescending than endearing, but the association in my mind is of pre-adolescent children, specifically those who attempt to be treated as adults.

I've always registered kids who act like that to be what is called: "Annoying as hell"

I've always registered kids who act like that to be what is called: "Annoying as hell" Not the ones who behave like annoying children, I mean the ones who make a decent attempt to join into adult conversations. I know eight year olds more mature than some 50 year olds I know, and yet the 8 year olds often aren't allowed by their parents to join in "grown-up conversations" even if they have legitimately interesting points to add.

But think of their ability to socialize with children other then their age? Wouldn't other children find them annoying? (Just to be clear, I don't actually find them annoying. But if I make a thread about being wrong, I'm gonna be wrong like all hell)

You said that you're trying to be wrong, but I actually wholeheartedly agree with this. Kids are just shorter adults with slightly less education.

There really is a massive difference between a child and an adult from a psychological standpoint. Simply because their behavior can mirror an adult's doesn't mean that's what is going on in their heads. Their reasoning and logic is incredibly different and depending on the stage of development a child is in it can change in the a blink of an eye. And what I just said isn't me trying to be purposefully wrong.

Well, I guess I must have just been an unusually mature child (or I'm extremely immature as an adult), because my reasoning and logic has not altered significantly since I was eight, and I think that what of it has changed in that time (I've become a tad less aggressive) is not substantially different than the personality changes in adults over that amount of time. I'm able to reason further ahead and think more of long-term things, but that's more of a skill akin to literacy or mathematics, and I can certainly read things and do calculations that I couldn't when I was eight. Hell, in some ways, I was psychologically healthier when I was that much younger. I lacked experience when I was young, but I certainly wasn't any less psychologically developed than I am now.

Who knows? Everyone develops differently, although it is especially difficult for a person to accurately track their own growth for a good number of reasons. However, enough of that, we started having a serious conversation and I announce that as illegal on this thread. Oranges are melons.

Why do you want a thread dedicated to being wrong when there are plenty of wrong things already?
Seriously, there are so many things that people believe that need to be corrected. Like, people still think the Earth is round?! It's obviously flat. Wake up to the truth, idiots.

Mercedes has 3 e's which are all pronounced differently. There's a shower thought for ya.

Mercedes has 3 e's which are all pronounced differently. There's a shower thought for ya. Wrong. Mercedes has four e's with different pronunciations. The fourth and final e which is the last letter of the name is often forgotten when writing the word because it's pronunciation is that of the silent e, and no one likes silent e's.

Earth may have been looked at by alien life, but there's a good chance Earth as a whole could be considered an uncontacted peoples. And just as we do for uncontacted peoples, they could have decided to leave us alone to figure it out on our own.
What if life is just a giant SIMS game, and our interpretations of any sort of God is simply us looking through the glass at the Illustrious Gamer? We live until they decide to kill us in hilariously cruel fashion.
Why can goodnight be one word and good morning has to always be separated?

I argue that aliens have taken over our governments and are manipulating us for reasons that may or may not be related to... pornography.
- Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. tikobe.exe has stopped working. File tikobe.exe has been deleted.
- Because even the word "good" hates mornings.

I see no reason why 12:00 A.M. on January 1st had to be the start of the New Year, so I declare that the New Year actually starts today at 9:36 P.M..

A wise sage once said, "Bros before hos!"
Someone bitch smacked him and yelled, "Sisters before misters!"
That was the start of the Gender Wars.

So, my school starts tomorrow.
Tomorrow's classes are Intro to Sociology and Social Psychology.
This is problematic. Why?
Cause I'm not a very social person.
