Damn, I was hoping you'd kill the c4 pawn. Oh well, on to other things.

...
Well, you killed my opening by moving to b3. Onto other things for me as well.

I know that I made the technically wrong move, but I want to see how this game will progress from here.

"Technically"
You revived the setup my opening was shooting for.

Shit, I made a blunder with my not correct move.

Mm-hmm.
Just barely dodged a checkmate too, if I may add.

Well, that was a tough decision to make.

Hey, at least you set up a pretty good defense. I was originally anticipating you to do a castle and then I would pressure F2 with my kingside bishop and my queen. The only challenge to that would've been your knight.

I was considering castling, but decided against it.

Well, hopefully this seals the deal for you then.

Took a while to figure out my next attack.

Let's see how this goes.

That was unexpected. I pulled out the chess board and rebuilt the board and made my sister go over it with me and walk through all possible paths but we never actually considered the Bishop taking a7. We figured the best move was Queen taking a7, which would've led us down a game where we wiped each other down so white was a king and two pawns and black was a king, a rook and 4 pawns. King would've pressured rook and earn space but in the process a pawn would slip through and be promoted. This is gonna be fun.

I'm always happy to be told that I'm unexpected in chess strategy.

Good to hear. Still not giving up on that checkmate.

You shouldn't give up. You have the advantage.

Mm-hmm. I know.
At this point, the instant that queen takes knight you'll be in checkmate. You can only delay via sacrificing your rook to my queen and your queen to my rook (Huh. Interesting how they reversed).

... Should've suspected it when you encouraged me. Haha, I made that mistake a lot earlier in my chess career as well. The queen is the most powerful piece, but you can't send her in alone into the well-fortified enemy side of the board.
