Besides, people get lazy.
For example, I just told a guy I'd submit a CS yesterday morning but I didn't feeling like making a character so I made this morning.

And I made an ISRP and told some people I'd make a thread for them the next day, and now it's six months later and I'll just give up, probably, and go on to other things. |
