Well, I am having issues over picking third or first person... It seems like only experienced writers can tackle first person and come out with a good story, and if anything describes me, it's most definitely not experienced writer, so I really don't know.

First person is easy. It's like you talking about what you did/are doing to someone, just with the added description of what other people are doing from your perspective. "Mom came into my room to ask what I had done at the park. I told her that I swung on the swings for a long time, and that I slid down the slide after that."

Besides if you went third person you would have to choose between limited, omniscient, and objective.
