This is a bit of an odd question, but what types of sounds do you usually hear from outside your window?
For me, it's usually cars (and other motor vehicles), people doing yardwork when the weather's nice, snowblowers in the winter, and loud music from the neighbor's backyard whenever they have a party.
I asked because for the past several days, I've also been hearing lots of planes - louder than usual; probably because there's an air show - and it made me wonder what other people hear from their windows.

Birds & Wind. I live in Southwest MI, so either your living in a tourist trap (get some of that chicago money) or in a rural area. I'm in a small village inside a rural area, so the nosiest thing I'll hear is a tractor or road workers. Usually it's just the birds and wind.

I'm in the suburbs, actually. There's gradually larger cities in one general direction, and smaller cities, farms, and naturey stuff in the other direction.

Cars that go down the dead end by mistake, wind sometimes, there's birds and god forbid that the several dozen dogs in the neighborhood ever quiet down for one moment.

Cars, birds (in morning), crickets (at night), wind. Sometimes passerby people or neighbors talking loudly. I live in the suburbs too, so... I guess there isn't really much of a difference.

I often hear people loudly screaming my name from a distance away - mostly my mother, but sometimes people who shouldn't know where I live and who would have no reason to be looking for me at night (which is when I hear these sounds). When I go to look to see who is calling for me I find that nobody was there at all, or if it's someone who actually is there, that they are much closer than expected and weren't shouting for me.

Crickets, loud ass drunks at the bar one block over, the occasional helicopter and/or plane flying overhead, the neighbors' dogs, and jackasses driving past with their bass turned up way more often than I would've thought. But I'm in Houston on vacation. Normally, all I'd hear back home are the crickets and cicadas.

Also footsteps and doors loudly opening and closing even when logically nobody should be awake.

Two or three clocks that are only slightly out of sync.
