Hello, role players of Earth and beyond! I felt the urge to bring a Steampunk or Medieval roleplay back into play, maybe one with elves or whatnot, but didn't think it would work; so, it got me thinkin', and I came up with this!
NOW READ IT.

◦Story◦
"Wagner, start the power."
Suddenly, 'wooshes' and 'vrooms' fill the air, and a disturbing blue light source floods the faces of your peers and you.
The blue light slowly flashes as a ring turns inside the machine, getting faster with every turn, until it seems like it's flashing a hundred times per second.
"Stabilizing power." A voice cuts in after hours of spinning. Or was it only seconds?
The device stops accelerating and stays at the same pace. Again, time passes without knowledge of how fast.
Then the light exploded.
◦Plot◦
The year is 2120. We've finally broken the secret to time travel; though it wasn't as we expected.
The machine, Time Era Migration, or T.E.M., has linked the centuries together. Cities have been replaced with kingdoms, towns with tents, highways with forests, and the Earth's population has seemed to double—maybe triple.
Knights on horses raid around the world, Roman conquerors of history plunder the land with their vast armies, and of course, the samurai are back.
The cause of this time merge was of the T.E.M.
It was supposed to be experimental, but it did much more than that. It killed it's creators. It worked.
The T.E.M. *can* be turned off, but is constantly being hidden away, and held by those who do not understand it's purpose.
You need to not only survive in this—these eras, but you must also seek to turn off the T.E.M., before it is permanent.
You may be asking yourself, "How can this happen? Wouldn't it be in our history books? What about the Butterfly Effect?" Well, the T.E.M. doesn't quite work that way. It takes quantum theory and puts it into place; no longer a theory. It takes the dimensions that are exactly alike, but in different time periods, and merges them together to create what is now.
You must fight for the T.E.M., and turn it off. Not only that, but you must survive in the age of brutality, the Dark Ages, the Roman Empire, the Chinese dynasties, including the brutal savages and murderers: the Mongols.
