(btw i'm going on a trip soon and all i'll have is an ipad to reply to stuff so expect slight inactivity)
"01100001-u-01110100-notamo "
The metal clasps seemingly vanish into thin air. You get up, look at the words on the wall, and realize that it's your puzzle.
"The message there is one word, scrambled into an unintelligible string using various methods. Decode it, and then repeat the word into the PA, and then you are free to go to the next puzzle. There is no time limit."
_________
(Rules)
You don't have to get through any puzzles just by using memory. Use translators, decoders, and text files on your computer at will to help solve the puzzle.
Uh....there aren't any other rules. Except...don't be annoying? Yeah.

"Fuck you! I'm not doing any of this bullshit that you want me to do!" I shout back at whoever it is that's forcing me to do these puzzles. I get up and look around the room, but as there is evidently no other way out of this room, after several hours of looking around I decide I had better not ignore the writing on the wall.
The first thing that immediately stands out to me are the two series of 1s and 0s, which I recognize to be individual letters encoded in a binary fashion. 01100001 is the letter "a" and 01110100 is the letter "t". "autnotamo... That makes no fucking sense!" I mutter to myself, before determining to try to figure out how it's encoded further. The most likely scenario is that it's a substitution cipher, in which case I immediately determine to start going through the list of possible Cæsar Ciphers that I can perform on autnotamo:
BVUOPUBNP CWVPQVCOQ DXWQRWDPR EYXRSXEQS FZYSTYFRT GAZTUZGSU HBAUVAHTV ICBVWBIUW JDCWXCJVX
If anyone were listening by this stage they would hear a grown man singing the alphabet song, interrupting himself and starting over, and then every once in a while cursing. In spite of that I opt to keep trying out the various things I get by attempting a cæsar cipher.
KEDXYDKWY LFEYZELXZ MGFZAFMYA NHGABGNZB OIHBCHOAC PJICDIPBD QKJDEJQCE RLKEFKRDF SMLFGLSEG TNMGHMTFH UONHINUGI VPOIJOVHJ WQPJKPWIK XRQKLQXJL YSRLMRYKM ZTSMNSZLN AUTNOTAMO
"Fuck you!" I shout at myself upon realizing the time I had wasted trying to go through the cipher. Maybe I'm overthinking it? If the letters aren't stand-ins for other letters, is "autnotamo" an anagram of something? As such decide to think it through somewhat - "Ottoman... No, there's a fucking leftover 'u'... Maybe automan? No, it's fucking automaton! I fucking got it!" I look around for where the PA is. "Your fucking bullshit word is "automaton", isn't it you cunt?"
(If my character gets to be a bit much please tell me; I'm just experimenting here a little bit with this guy.)

The rusty PA in the corner of the room emits static, then the same voice comes up again. "You are correct. The amount of time it took you to solve the puzzle was: 12 HOURS----", followed by more static. "----Time to find the way out." A distinct crack appears in the wall, and a small light drops from the ceiling onto the table. Then the light goes off, and that's when you discover that it lights up invisible ink on the wall.

What does the invisible ink say?

To start off, you shine the light around the crevice in the wall. Nothing but a quickly scribbled outline of wavy lines around the crack. On the right side of that wall, a cryptic message appears: "EUS HANDS YURO TO ONEP WALL HTE".
In each corner of the room, a sinister eye symbol is present, and on the opposite wall from the crack, a symbol which looks like a ventilator is located near the top of the wall.

"More fucking anagrams, you fucking prick?" I ask, though these are slightly shorter words so they should be easier to unscramble.
"USE YOUR HANDS TO OPEN THE WALL" is what I can nearly immediately unscramble the sentence to read. "What the fuck does that mean? Use my hands to open the fucking wall?" I guess I'll take a closer look at the eye symbols and ventilator symbols.

As you get closer to the symbols, you see the incredible detail in them: tiny, tiny scribbles and lines and patterns swirl around inside of each line. It's very strange, and doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

I press my hand on one of the symbols to see if anything happens.

I press my hand on one of the symbols to see if anything happens. As you press your hand on an eye symbol, it lights up greatly, once again illuminating the room.

What else can I see?

When the room lights up, a strange growth on the wall, close to the crack in the wall, glows lightly. Other then that, cthere isn't anything else in the room.
