You wake up in a small, dilapidated room.
The stench of rot and decay greets your nostrils as you look around.
You're sitting at a chair, tied at the arms and legs. The chair is pulled up tightly to a table and a flickering light hangs above.
A sound from behind you startles you. It's a voice. A deep, demonic voice.
"Hello. Welcome to the Temple. You are currently held in the starting room. Don't try to move. You're held in by steel bars. After this speech is done, they will release and you will have to progress through a plethora of rooms alike to this one, solving puzzles along the way. There are multiple categories of puzzles, and they are intended to increase in difficulty as time goes on. After the halfway point, you will have an increasingly smaller time limit to answer. If you do not answer in time, you will be killed using various methods."
A string of numbers and letters which are seemingly unintelligible appear on the wall in front of you.
"This is the first question. Before you answer it, however, we need to figure out information pertaining to you. It may come as a suprise, but we never collect information on subjects until we have them. Answer honestly, or untold circumstances are to come."

A beep sounds, and slight feedback plays as your voice echoes. You now need to answer the questions.

Another fun fact about my character: Literally nobody here has ever played a human PC who is older than 35 (and ages normally and everything, for all roleplays where immortality is a thing). Think about it - everyone goes for twentysomethings, maybe early thirtysomethings, or their loose analogs in elf years or whatever, and occasionally I'll see people going for really old people, but I've never seen anyone else play a middle aged person.
