Just dying in general, yeah, but not exactly a goal (for me, at least)

I wanna do something great. Hopefully I can do at least one great thing. At this point, I'd even settle for GOOD.

I want to die young. I don't mean dying tomorrow, but I don't want to be locked up in a retirement home by my grandkids who are living off my social security while I can't remember my name or move my joints. That said, though, I'd quite like to visit Hastings in 2066 to commemorate the thousandth anniversary of the Norman Invasion, and maybe listen to Summer of '69 in the summer of 2069.
As for what to do before then, I'd just like not to be miserable and to live a life that I can be proud of.

Certainly, going to push it out 50 odd years just to do those things.

I'd be ready to die when I start getting alzheimers, parkinsons, dementia or something else like that, or when my joints are so bad that it's painful to be alive, or when I just generally lose control of my body/mind. Those do not sound like fun things to live with. However, until or unless I get to that stage I might as well enjoy life.
