im sure u all remember me
I quit the ROBLOX forums in like... 2014, and then went onto Garry's Mod for most of my roleplay needs. But forum-wise, I basically went over to shitty-shit RPN.
I have a question, though. Since this forum looks (kinda) dead, would I be allowed to recruit for some multiplayer ISRP thing I might start on RPN? I mean, that site is not the greatest thing in the world, but it provides a good framework for roleplays, at least.
I'm not suggesting that anybody quit this site, of course. I'm probably going to stick around here myself. I think, at the moment, this forum is basically just a good staging ground/OOC chatroom for RPFers, while doing the actual RPs offsite may be more feasible.
if that make me a race traitor/leech im srry

You can try to do whatever you want, but everyone who's here is well aware of the fact that RPN exists and each person individually and deliberately chose to be here instead of RPN. Also the past several times I've tried to read a roleplay on RPN it was the most confusing thing ever, and the complicated fonts and colours did not help in the slightest.

I'd have to see what the RP is about, first. But I'd totally be willing to do OOC here and the actual roleplaying somewhere else.

ok here we go In a nutshell, it's a dystopian RP set about a century or so after several obscure apocalyptic events. Most of the world is covered in shitty wastelands referred to as the "Gloom." Some areas have started to regrow, but mostly in small patches. These areas are called the "Bloom." Nowadays, civilized "countries" exist as collections of cities that are connected by armored highways. The control of governments is mostly limited to metropolitan areas, as there are mostly just mutants, warlords and small settlements lying in the Gloom/Bloom areas beyond. The RP takes place in Wosten, a city belonging to Sancta, which is an authoritarian state controlled by the Autumn Party. They're oppressive. Your character's goals don't necessarily have to be linear, but "resistance" or "escape" are the two main paths. The latter involves avoiding the authorities, gathering survival supplies and planning an escape from the city, presumably to a more peaceful life in the Bloom. The former will likely involve joining up with rebels, going on missions, and directly attacking the government. The players can either go on their own, or join up with others. Things are somewhat unstable in Wosten, and the prospect of an all-out uprising appears to be looming overhead. Due to the city's isolated location, a rebellion may actually stand a chance. map: goons: gunz:

Well, it's slightly futuristic in some regards, but there are no real aliens. There are aesthetically-differing mutie and posthuman folk, so you could probably incorporate a few aspects of that picture. It would still end up moreso resembling a human at the end of the day.
Even if you did that, it might make the game a bit harder. Not being an "Orthodox human" is grounds for the Autumn Party giving you bonus oppression. You'd be forced to live in the Seclusion District, and travelling outside would be a lot more difficult.

Oooh, I thought he was a spooky alien.
Well, as for the mask... it probably wouldn't be something that a character would start off with, as initially, everyone is basically a civilian. It'd need to have a backstory that wasn't too convoluted.
Maybe you could say it's just some outdated piece of odd-looking industrial garb.
