For complicated reasons I'd rather not get into here I'm going to be doing some wine tasting soon, and so I'd like some recommendations for which wines to look for specifically, if anyone here has any experience with alcohol (or religion). For reasons even more complicated Shiraz and Merlot are not available options, but basically every other wine on the market is an option. As for my personal tastes I really do not like bubbles, so please don't recommend any sparkling wines or champagnes, but other than that I haven't had enough wine to be able to know what my personal tastes are (hence wine tasting). So make suggestions below for what you think are wines that are worth trying.

Have you considered sangria? Though that's more of a drink with fruit and wine in it...

Like, none. Seriously though they're all disgusting. Fuck off, seriously. Cabernet Sauvignon is definitely a good starting place, if you're into a solid, rounder, if slightly acidic and refreshing flavour. Malbec is also pretty nice. Mencía wines are good to start too.

Sake, the sweeter the better. That way you get faded faster and don't have to worry about that stupid one night stand that you completely regret.

My only response to that is, uh, kill yourself.

If you're looking to get drunk, taste will probably be the last thing in your mind. If it is, sake is still what I would recommend. Getting faded off wine is like going to a baseball game in a tuxedo.

No, just the fact that you said "I'm just taste-testing to see what I would enjoy the taste of if I want to get drunk in the future." lol
