i didn't finish this, but i felt like the writing was pretty good for my standards
I surreptitiously made my way along the night, the shadows, the demons and cold, black hearts following me all the way through. The night was darker than it’s ever been, for no longer did the stars shine bright enough to lead the way. Though I had no direct fault for their picking from the black fields up above, I was penitent for the sins of my species. However, I believed I may be able to prove my solvency, and perhaps those of the rest of mankind. Nature may just forgive us for the awful things we have done to the stars and our planet.
As I made my way down the streets, observing the scorched, polluted landscape and ruined buildings, trying to look away from the monstrosities in the darkness, I realized that there was only one way to repay humanities debt. We must do to ourselves what we have done to the place we once called home. Humanity must be cleansed, endure another Great Awakening. If we survive, we will surely learn the importance of maintaining our environment - that we are no more or less important than the insects under our feet.
And so, for the better of our species and all the species of Earth, I began to commit a cleansing, a genocide amongst all of the human race. They would realize that they had sinned, and began to understand the gravity of their simple crimes against this planet. Warriors of metal and machinery ravaged makind, doing it’s best to prevent collateral damage if possible. Humanity did all it knew how to do, and attempted to use violence to fight back, but there was no hope. I and nature were intent to prove their guilt, and had no plans to cease our attack on humanity.
i have no plans to finish it but i kind of liked it
