Deserts of Kataar
There are few reasons to come to Kataar these days, it is best described a hellscape controlled by zealous fanatics, inhumane beasts and thoughtless conquerors; all who desire this continent's vast wealth.
All who travel to Kataar are desperate for wealth, scholars, merchants, adventurers all hoping to claim their part of the birthplace of the gods, but do not taking this rambling as a warning I will not stop you from finding your destiny here; I will only try to guide you as long the way.
---/The Rifts and The Four Cities/---
The Rifts were said to be made as Kataar when he was a mere mortal fought godly creatures. When these creatures died their fall caused such a shock Rifts were made. Travel between the Rifts are instantaneous and somehow always know where we wish to go.
(Ordered by how likely you are to get attacked by a monster)
Selena:
A large and powerful citystate that used to be the center of Kataar's mighty empire, a coastal power surrounded by mysticism and ancient societies. It is guarded by a blue aura that seems to repel monsters making it a great place to rest.
Ruled by the al-Kataar family: Descendants of Kataar and his wife Selena
Bolden:
The recently conquered city that is now a colony of a foreign empire. Bolden was once a inbetween point between Kataar and the other continents, now it is a island under martial law with a large enslaved native population.
Is a colony in the Melano Empire, who are currently at war with the Nai Kingdom
Kaizen:
The glorious capital of the Nai kingdom, a walled off city made up mostly of wealthy nobles and outside the walls a large farming population. Outside of the walls beast attacks are common and outsiders are not allowed inside of them.
Capital of the Nai Kingdom
Located in the northwest near the coast
At war with the Melano Empire
Charmsa:
In the center of the continent is Charmsa the unowned city. Charmsa is a group of large connected limestone buildings that stretches for miles on end, it is also the headquarters of many secretive organizations. Leaving the limestone buildings is suicidal as monsters can be heard outside gnawing at the walls of at all times.
