Backstory -
One of America's presidents once said that, "The only thing we have to fear, is fear itself." Now, that quote is widely known throughout the world, but I'm here to tell you how wrong it is. Fear is a weapon, the United States' and its allies' last weapon at this standpoint. Let me give you a background information before I go any further before I go any further first, though.
After the occupation of Ukraine, the Russians gave everyone a slight feeling of unease and for good reason because it had been so long since a country was taken over. You don't even need to mention that fact about how quickly it happened and how no country even made any significant push to stop the act. Years later though, all the way to the present where you and I currently stand, the Russians have started yet another push. They're slowly beginning to take over Mongolia, Georgia, and other surrounding countries, and they're advancing towards Europe all because of the party that rose to power; the Kleiv party.
The Kleiv party is ambitious. Artur Gusarov was the backbone of the party so he was eventually as the new President of Russia once Putin "passed away." Artur believes in the more severe version of Nationalism and so does his party. So, while they are taking over these countries, they are beginning to cause a mass genocide, murdering everyone who lives there because they are simply not "pure Russian," or "they do not live up to the simple requirements of the Russians."
Why not do something more critical than send in a single squad of men to take down a whole party of canidates and supporters? Simple, they've got many countries backing them, China being one of them which means that the conflict currently going on between the USA and Russia and its supporters is currently going poorly. This is our last hope before WWIII goes full out which will probably end in disaster for the USA and its counterparts.
This is where the Lonestar Fireteam comes in and this is where our ace card is played; we're going to use fear as our weapon. Your squad is going to be the phantoms in the night, known only because of your masks and the bullet casings and bodies you leave in your wake when you strike. If they don't know what hit them and they see men in classy, intimidating masks who disappear like phantoms in the night after their assignment is complete, you can bet for sure that they'll be constantly on edge, awaiting your next moves with a not-so-eager attitude. Not to mention, you men are capable of it. You are the most battle-hardy crew we have and your experience and wits are what have lead you into this dangerous operation. You are the only men who can do it, though. The fate of our freedom and others relies on it.
-A taste of a mission
- 13:20 hours, May 5th, 2023. Ufa, Russia
"Alright, we've gone over this a hundred times. We're dropping you off in this alley and you're heading into the city square Ufa. There, we've got a man named Boris Neveror. He's a pretty big part of Artur's operation and we'll need him dead before we get on to bigger tasks. He's giving a stupid damn speach about the Kleiv party; just a bunch if ethnocentric crap. He's going to be stuffing his people with lies which makes me want to shoot him myself," a man sitting up in the front seat of a van says, looking back at the members who filled his vehicle.
"First off, no civilian casualties. Second, we want a picture of his dead body. Third, we want to pull you out alive," the man continued while the van pulled to a stop.
"We'll be in touch through communications. Remember where we're meeting up after the task is completed and remember all of the assets we have prepared for you. Good luck, Lonestar," the man finishes, signalling for your squad to exit the vehicle.

Generally, I will always decide your primary weapons on missions after your main mission is complete if you do not start with it, however you will have a secondary weapon that is small and concealable AT ALL TIMES. I'm not limiting it to choices; it can be whatever you want so long as it's plausible and it passes as a firearm. It doesn't have to be created from the figment of your mind. We do have Google, y'know.

Combat Medic - This person will be equipped with standard medical equipment and they are trained to deal with standard battle wounds effectively. This allows them to keep their squad from the brink of death.
Pyromaniac - This person will be equipped C4 explosives, grenades, and they can disarm I.E.D.s and some bombs if it were to come to it.
Technician - The Technician is a professional hacker and a professional mechanic all in one package. They can get things working with the correct, or even improvised, tools and they can hack enemy equipment in a flash.
Vehicles Expert - The man who knows everything about vehicles. Boats, helicopters, motercycles, cars, planes, tanks, you name it, he knows and can drive/pilot it like a professional.
*Bandoiler - The heavily armored man is the tank of the group who suits up with heavy armor at rendezvenous points and usually takes a heavy, powerful weapon along with him. He also carries ammunition for the team if need be, making him a valuable asset overall. (Overfill skill. Check rules for more information regarding use of this skill.)

Rules -
1. No metagaming, no unrealistic actions, and no controlling other characters or NPCs.
It's a tabletop roleplay, therefore I control the outcome of your actions.
2. No perfect characters. Your character will be a total bad-ass, but make sure they have a few flaws. Something that deals with there social skills or something like that would work A-Okay.
3. Codenames need to be short and to the point. They also can't scream "Military!" Examples of names that would fit would be Sparks, Preacher, Beanstalk.
4. In "other," put "No #8."
5. Again, your concealed weapon must be realistic and a firearm. No exceptions to that.
6. Don't make your character incredibly stubborn. They're in the military, they're disciplined enough to know that they are required to get the job done.
7. No spamming. If you have a question, my PMs are open and my partys are too.
9. Your character's mask MUST be descriptive and outside-the-box. This is how you are striking fear into the hearts of your enemies.
10. Strategy is key in this roleplay. If you mess this up, your target may escape, costing you the mission.
11. If you are declined, don't ask why. It's either because you didn't read the rules or you are not fit for the RP.
12. Be literate, for Christ's sake. I'm not asking for incredibly long paragraphs, only short ones that are well thought out and well structured actions that your character perfrom.
13. One skill per character and each skill can only be used once. This is intended for four people, but I will accept five. If there is a fifth person, that person will get the Bandoiler perk. Otherwise, the Bandoiler perk is off-limits as it is only there as overflow

Unlike some soldiers, he doesn't exactly have a cutthroat build, as Janus could never quite achieve the broad-shouldered, powerful look. He's thin, no doubt about it, with a flat stomach and hollowed-out face. There's muscle there, certainly, it's just not obvious. With symmetrical features, Jan's deep-set, sky-blue eyes and ordinary nose mark him as a face that can be passed easily in the crowd. He's the type to blend it, with forgettable features such as a thin, pale lips, and a face lightly dotted with freckles. There's a small scar on his chin from an accident a while back, but beyond that there's nothing remarkable about him. His thinning dark brown hair is short, cropped close to his skull. At one point in time his mane was a whole lot thicker, but age and stress have evened the strands out. On most days, there's some sort of stubble crossing over his chin, for Jan forgets to shave rather often.
personality :; Like a bird, Janus tends to be rather skittish. He always doubts himself, which makes him better as a follower rather than a leader. Secondly, he's a natural worrier, which ties in his first trait; he will always doubt the plan, even if there is nothing to doubt. However, being rather quiet he isn't too vocal on these issues, for better or for worse. Of course, he does have some traits to counteract his flaws. Jan is a stone heart - loyal to the end, and an accomplished out of the box thinker. He is also and incredibly neat person, and has the tendency to clean things so furiously he's on the edge of ocd.

This plain object has points similar to 'feathers' jutting out across it's surfaces, seemingly in a haphazard order. There are six sets of 'eyes'. The main ones, which are used as Janus' visual and not show, are pupiless, souless orbs in which fully obscure his own eyes. The secondary sets are smaller and just for show. One set of the slits is positioned beneath the main irises, though unlike the above they are a blazing, unearthly yellow. Likewise, above the main orbs are the other set, which are symmetrical to the first. For the mask's color, it's a two-tone, in which one half is russet brown, and the other side is off-white. The 'feather' appendages are tipped in black.

With his heart in his hands, and no family to think of, Jan allowed the branches to control most of his young adult life. He returned to his hometown only when it was called for, and was always pulled back into action soon enough. He just couldn't stand milling around doing nothing.

Thatsaid, it is not a detriment yet, however his ribs are starting to show. [Just to givean idea of how skinny he is getting.] Other important physical features are his dark gray eyes, which carry sleep rings around them all the time. He has lightly tanned skin from various military campaigns, and has ashy blonde hair. He stands at almost 5'11.

However, the battlefield helped teach him a lot more than his classroom did, but combined he became one of the best medics out there. After several years moving around, saving countless lives, he was transfered into more combat heavy areas, where at times he was required to fight as well. It was during this time he beganto develope the sleep rings around his eyes, and as the fighting continued, he developed a slight eating disorder too. However, he was an exceptional fighter and medic, sohe was kept out in duty, until he was transfered over into the Lonestar Fireteam

Military Bio: Calculator was originally a field technician for the navy SEALS. About six months ago, though, he was shot in the throat, and he nearly died. He recovered, but was left mute by the incident; that is, he is unable to speak. He got discharged and was out of the military for a while. However, being one of the finest field technicians in the SEALS, he was asked to be in Fireteam Lonestar. Drowning in debt and jobless, he accepted the offer.

Mask: Calculator's mask is a grayish red mask with a wide, exaggerated smile on it. It has no nose, and two dark holes Calculator sees out of. Around the mouth are several smile wrinkles, and the teeth in the smile are incredibly detailed. The smile also has grayish blue gums.

Military Bio: Calculator was originally a field technician for the navy SEALS. About six months ago, though, he was shot in the throat, and he nearly died. He recovered, but was left mute by the incident; that is, he is unable to speak. He got discharged and was out of the military for a while. However, being one of the finest field technicians in the SEALS, he was asked to be in Fireteam Lonestar. Drowning in debt and jobless, he accepted the offer.

James took the time to make a custom-made camouflage for his handgun which he calls the "Lolli". Basically, it's just a bunch of lollipop drawings with a pink and baby-blue background. : He has a mask that wraps around his head and ties at the back. It's basically a velvet-inlay, padded aluminium-exterior mask covering his entire face. The second part is what covers his back, essentially being the same thing. He puts on gun-range glasses that are actually quite similar to Google Glass. It provides HUDs for the Mission Control Unit to provide information to him directly.
