Okay, for one, this priest is even worse than my mom. Two, when he came to be the new priest, a lot of people left- Aka, all of the decent people. All that's left are loyalists who actually believe in what he says. If I were to go up there and preach against everything they've been listening to, it would be terrible. I'd be apologized for and forced to repent. The people in the church would be in an uproar. I'd get glances and hard stares and parishoners lecturing me on what it means to be a Christian. Speakers go to the church to reinforce people's beliefs, not challenge them. And I'm an introvert, so I would never go up there in the first place.

Forcing church/religion down someone's throat is one of the worst things parents can do imo.

Forcing anything upon your child is the worst thing you can do. But the thing is unless you really neglect your child, chances are you will force a lot of things on them that they will grow to hate and resent you for. It's like some sort of rule.
