I'll finish my attack on the Typhinx sergeant, aiming to kill him with yet another Bullet Storm.

[There's no kill like overkill! Jorim strikes the sergeant for a critical Bullet Storm of 112!] (Jesus Christ, haha. Figured it was going to be overkill anyway, then you roll a Crit for the cherry on top.)
[The Typhinx Sergeant has been brutally defeated! Like, Fallout with the 'Bloody Mess' Perk level of brutality.]
Jorim den Dathrag (Protected: 2@25%) Shield: 56/100 Health: 120/120 Stamina: 10/100
Hkatchep (Protected: 2@25%) Shield: 100/100 Health: 100/100 Stamina: 70/100 -Auto Turret Health: 39/50
"Vick" Garland (Protected: 2@25%) Shield: 89/100 Health: 70/70 Stamina: 40/110
Ratarok Wirn (Protected: 2@25%) Shield: 52/100 Health: 170/170 Stamina: 72/100
[Current Turn: Hkatchep]
Typhinx Sergeant [DEAD] Shield: 0/50 Health: 0/150
Typhinx Soldier A (Demoralized: +10% DMG received) Health: 100/100

(Can you maybe add some form of fear mechanic to make the other two Typhinx think something akin to "Holy shit, that guy just killed our boss and defiled&mutilated his corpse beyond the point of recognition in a matter of seconds" and then be more cautious/whatever?)

(They're demoralized; Idk what more ya want. The guy sitting in the sky with control over a giant death-cannon is a bit more intimidating than the pissant sergeant he employed.) (Spoiler, by the way... Have fun after the fight!)

(So basically Tarkin with the Death Star is more intimidating than a random sergeant? Alright.)

(If you would prefer they and everyone else jump off the train to end combat, I can do that; It's going to severely cut the experience and loot gain, though.) (Decided against full inclusion of my example, but I'll finish by pointing out that plenty of military and/or combat personnel have seen some pretty fucked up stuff in the past; Most can deal until they are out of the fire. Corpse defiling quite often becomes a hobby during war.) (That said, although there's no Predator in the group, a head randomly exploding out of combat definitely would have a chance of making a few folks say 'Fuck it' and run for the hills.)

(Oh, I'm fine continuing the fight; I was just wondering if there would be any mathematical advantage to the overkill.)

(Ahhh, gotcha. Nah, that was just my personal 'Holy Shit' reaction. However, I am always tinkering with skill progression; If you keep overkilling people, you might expect some some of Adrenaline Rush passive to show up.) (My bad on the bitchy response(s). Result of... Jesus, Just under 3 hours of sleep. And I still have to cook dinner later, fucking kill me. [Probably slow replies tonight, sorry folks])

Hkatchep will NOW give someone a very big, virtually-drawn gun. On Jorim. Buzz buzz.

I look to the bloody pulp that was the sergeant and gag a bit, but then recover and fire my shotgun at the A-looking soldier.

[Hkatchep quickly constructs an exoskeleton enhancement suit for Jorim, adding 50% DMG for 2 turns. The Auto Turret unloads a wide sweep, dealing 8 Damage to all enemies.]
[Typhinx Soldier A has been skipped!]
[Victoria strikes a basic attack upon Typhinx Soldier A, dealing 17 Damage and gaining 10 Stamina.]
[Ratarok follows with a second basic attack upon Typhinx Soldier A, dealing 10 damage and gaining 12 Stamina.]
[Typhinx Soldier B hits Ratarok with a barrage, dealing 9, 10 and 9 (28) Damage.]

(Not enough Stamina; You can pass, and gain 30, or use a basic attack and gain 10 (or more via Agility points). I dunno which to suggest honestly, because while a Pass seems wasteful, having the stamina for Bullets for All or your frag ability ready with the exosuit could yield tasty results.)

(Hell, I'd say throw a frag next round; You'll be drained, but that should be enough to end it, if not pretty damn close. Definitely kill A. I'll throw another aggro ability to make sure you don't pull 'em with my barricade about to go down. Might take some hits to my health for it, but at least early levels are always fast, and thus, free heal.)
[Jorim takes a moment to recover, gaining 30 Stamina.]

I briefly consider healing the A-looking Typhinx soldier to get on their good side, and then right when the battle seems lost, I shoot them in the back, but instead I just use my ol' shotty to shoot the A-looking one instead.

[Jorim sprays both SMGs with Bullets for all, dealing 55 and 48 Damage respectively.]
[Typhinx Soldier A has been slain!]
[Hkatchep completes construction on the second Auto Turret. Both spray a barrage into Typhinx Soldier B for 17 and 15 Damage.]
[Typhinx Soldier B has been slain!]
[All enemies defeated! Loading loot and after-battle stats...]
Jorim den Dathrag Shield: 100/100 Health: 120/120 Stamina: 100/100
Hkatchep Shield: 100/100 Health: 100/100 Stamina: 100/100
"Vick" Garland Shield: 100/100 Health: 70/70 Stamina: 110/110
Ratarok Wirn Shield: 100/100 Health: 150/170 Stamina: 100/100
[Items Gained!]
[90 EXP] (+10 until next level) [355 ¢r - All] (Christ, I'm crediting half of that is from Llama)
1) Typhinx Scattershot Item class - Weapon, Rifle Stats: 14-20 DMG +4 Speed
2) Cylimax Combat Revolver Item class - Weapon, pistol Stats: 10-14 DMG +5 Speed
3) Typhinx "Sarg's Handcannon" Item class - Weapon, Pistol Stats: 12-16 DMG +4 Speed *Basic attacks deal 50% explosive DMG to one random enemy
4) Durminex Cybernetic Modification - Equipped by Hkatchep Item class - Class Item, Shield Mod *Adds (an additional) 50 shield to any created constructs. (Idk how that dropped with zero luck, but grats mate.)
[Loot preference selected: Need vs. Greed.] [Awaiting player selections to determine rolls.] (Personal Luck Stats have zero bearing on Loot Roll results. Vote without worry on that.) (Simply put down Greed on what you want to sell, Need if you want to wear it, Pass if... Well, that one's obvious.)

Ratarok's selection:
1) Typhinx Scattershot - Greed 2) Cylimax Combat Revolver - Need (Wouldn't mind being able to throw down my barricades more quickly.) (If yer still after Speed LNG, I can change my need over to the Handcannon; No speed loss on my account, plus that basic attack bonus could be nifty for me.) 3) Typhinx "Sarg's Handcannon" - Greed

Huh, so I got a rare drop with my zero points invested in luck. Cool. I'll put the Scattershot up for Need, everything else in Greed. Jorim can probably put that explosive pistol to better use.
