The nuclear facility in Japan has melted down, immediate evacuation protocols were observed and practiced. The majority of the Tokyo population was killed in the atomic blast, yet Japanese authorities claim the reactor was overheated on purpose by an external device, pinpointed in China. United States agents "Spectator" and "Harpie" located a Chinese-government facility in Beijing and employed Delta Force to infiltrate and gain more evidence through quick incarceration of data and evidence of the Chinese government's hand in the nuclear meltdown in Japan. On October 13, 2029, Delta Force seized Chinese assets and the UN sanctioned China heavily, as well as feed them to pay for the catastrophic event in Japan. Japan didn't suffice for this and justified a war against China. As an ally of Japan, the United States entered a war against China, which dragged, in turn, all of the United States' allies, as well as the entirety of NATO. Russia then entered the war on the side of China, as well as post-USSR countries such as Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, etc. On February 2nd, 2030, the United States unified the Korean peninsula and began to push into China's southern border, while the European front was quickly approaching Moscow. The war seemed grim for the Federation, as it was. But over the course of the next month, the DEFCON ramped up rapidly and on March 13, 2030, Washington D.C., Los Angeles, New York City, San Fransisco, and Chicago are all subject to a firestorm and thousands of radioactive material. This has started the nuclear war. The United States immediately lashes back bombing Moscow, Beijing, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Shanghai, and Guangzhou. This is known as "Judgement Day" in American history, where thousands of nuclear bombs killed billions of people in a matter of hours. Immediate response to the nuclear war was slow and chaotic. Over the course of the next few decades, the world froze over. Millions more died if not from radiation to hypothermia. Those who did survive were in nuclear bunkers or in Argentina, where the smog and radiation were less devastating. Over the next hundred years, the smog would disperse but the O-Zone had been eradicated essentially. UV sunlight scorched the Earth leaving many places as desert wastelands, with debris and cadavers of buildings being left as the remembrance of the days before the war.
The soil, immediately toxic and cancerous. The water was plagued with radiation and the air mixed with soot and toxic chemicals released by industrial chemicals being released into the atmosphere. Entire ecosystems collapsed and millions of species go extinct. A few million humans survived spread across the globe. Circa 2210, there was an event known as the "Great Re-Emergence". Hundreds of radio frequencies were connected together into the "RadWeb". With this form of communication, civilizations began to rebuild themselves. In Mesopotamia, a large group of re-established Sumer while those in the western hemisphere settled along the rivers and coastlines of South America. Civilizations in North America and Asia were a lot rarer, though. It was a widespread wasteland with only pockets of civilizations in the forms of towns and villages would inhabit the expanses of land. Lonesome travelers would trek the wastelands between city to city, fighting mutants and making friends along the deserted roads. Then came Khan. A man from Egypt who had based his life around that of Genghis Khan founded the "Khanate of Baakar". It spread quickly throughout Africa and into the Middle East, making an alliance with the Kingdom of Mesopotamia in 2248. In Asia, the New Min-Dynasty arose in Beijing. Chinese tribes throughout China banded together under Emperor Yan Min and conquered much of eastern Asia, challenged only by Yon Kyung-Soo, a Christian monk in Korea. He gathered a following of thousands that detested the and despised the Emperor and his religious views. In 2253, Ia Alari was founded by Yon Kyung-Soo, at the center of Old Seoul. And in 2255, the Asia Crusade began. In Europe, the Romans rule once more. The strategic placement of Rome and the rich economy and warrior-blood in the people there led to a grand Empire, spanning from Sicily to Norway. It was ruled by a republic of ministers, known as the Korto Pymn. The Romans were also avid supporters of the use of Pre-War technologies and their ancient roots. The majority of Rome began speaking a new form of Latin, known as Pluyic, but understood old Latin and Italian. In Britannia, the Romans also ruled aside from Ireland. The Irish tribespeople were vicious warriors and guarded the beaches vigorously. Ireland was united under one banner, known as the "Celtic Brotherhood". At least that's what the Romans were led to believe, and only entered Ireland as far as the Midlands.
In North America, Seattle has been resurrected into a safe haven and even renamed to New Nirvana. The American wastes are plagued with anarchy, though. Gangs and criminals inhabit much of the midwest and harass travelers traveling from either coast. In Washington, D.C., the New Republic of America is underway, gathering quick support from thousands of people along the east coast. President Crumm has reinterpreted the New Republic to conservative democracy. The conservatives in the New Republic are dominated, with liberals making up about only 2% of the population. In Canada, the Ottawans have begun to wall off Ontario along the American border but have also conquered Québec, Newfoundland, and Labrador. New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island was absorbed into the New Republic after a brief exchange of skirmishes between the Ontarian Order and the New Republic along Sherbrooke and Montreal. The current date is October 22nd, 2352.

This roleplay is an ISRP-roleplay. So... yeah. The standards are that it is a futuristic post-apocalyptic RP with modern technology and some sci-fi aspects such as robots, energy-based weaponry, etc. This takes place anywhere in the world except Antarctica. It's really open.
