The world is in a state of turmoil, yet the countries still lead their people forward, with promises of prosperity and vitality.

South Korea South Korea is in a steady state, but a mob of liberals has been protesting in plazas across Seoul. They've been interrupting local commuters as well as having small clashes with local law enforcement. There's also been word about a warehouse of Soviet-era weapons being found by resistance fighters including Arisaka rifles, SKS rifles, Type 14 Nambus, and a 120-PM-43 mortar as well as crates of 6.5×50mmSR Type 30 and 7.62×39mm M43 crates, as well as one crate of twenty-four 120mm shells. Cassette tapes are also spreading throughout North Korea steadily, but North Korean intelligence is beginning to find the distributors that receive the tapes along the DMZ. This might be an issue that warrants concern.

Try and minimize conflict with the protesters; let them have their rallies as long as they remain peaceful but at the first signs of violence there should be law enforcement on standby (minutes away) with riot equipment. Also send in a few government employees to the rallies to make sure that they aren't proposing anything drastic, like impeachment or revolution.
As for the cassette tapes, we should toy with the idea of using stealth bombers to being dropping 'resistance packages' to the North Korean population; this would be full of food, pro-Western materials, and possibly even small firearms. We, of course, may not have this level of technology on standby so we shall send a secret envoy to the United States in order to ask for a lending of these aircraft. We would also want full confirmation that these aircraft would not be spotted; it would be ridiculous to commence the war over this. For now, setting up of new points along the DMZ should suffice.

South Korea You deplore government employees to infiltrate the rallies and conventions to ensure the safety of the state. Within every protest area, there is a collection of law enforcement with riot gear on standby. You send a private envoy to Camp Hovey to ask for a stealth bomber to deliver packages over the North Korean border. Although, if the airdrops are seen by North Korean authorities, it may result in a war. But you begin funding the resources for the airdrops, including American MREs, magazines, Hollywood CDs, newspapers critiquing the Kim-family regime, and small-arms with a few magazines. You also install more agents around the DMZ to smuggle in cassette tapes.
There's been a terrorist attack in Istanbul, killing 70 and injuring 150.

Due to the gravity of the situation of the care packages, I want the opinion of the American president during the Hovey meeting.
I make a speech on the subject, saying how radicalism is a plague upon Earth and should be dealt with appropriately. This has heavy negative connotation towards our northern neighbors. Condolences are also given to the families involved.

South Korea It was a radical Islam attack but your civilians understand the messages. The president is flying into Hovey and will arrive tomorrow.
Not much else has happened in South Korea.
