"After nine years in development, hopefully it will have been worth the wait."
-Gabe Newell
Hm... These days, the days of the Beatles have long'n gone'n'now, Mr. John's left us. Meanwhile, we have reported that a few constables of ours were late to work because, apparently, they looked everywhere in London for a sold-out album that's said to be "Brothers in Arms" because it'a won an award or whatever. And--... D'aww, am I boring you to death too much? Oh, right, I'll get to whatever crap's important, sorry to have you on hold.
Ah. So anyhow, we have been seeing more reports of murder more than ever for one year than all of the others in the 199th decade. So far, ta murders look all pretty standard to us City of London Policemen and Metropolitan Police constables. But all we know about them is that most of them seem to follow a common theme. A'no, it's not some BS card, thing, whatever it is. Instead, the theme is that not only is ta only evidence of John Doe's identity are sets of footprints that are akin to a certain shoe size, but all the victims so far are graduates of the City of London School. Yeah, for the former, pretty impressive for a killer to hide away most of his crimes sufficiently, so I don't think you shoud be tackling this case, because you'd be wasting your time, basically.
...
Wait, y'wish to take on one of ta toughest cases to close, huh? And expecting it to be all easy-peasy lemon-squeesy, just like when you punked one of those, uh, wha'ever no-good-doers that were out there? Well, I'm only warnin' ya this time: You might not come back, boy. But why, though? Ah, b'cause bloody hell, the murderer's quite too smart for the most of us'an'only a few of our trained experts could stand a chance against him.
Unfortunately, all we have of other info about ta killer--err, John Doe are a few notes of him. One says that he is an employee working at a cafe, while the other states the murderer to be of...slightly above average. It appears that he hasn't committed a crime that preceded the murders, instead possibly having been hospitalised one time. See what I mean by him being too
However, we do have some hope. Most of ta murders as part of ta spike has seen footprints that are akin to a shoe size of 8.5. Great, so this means that John Doe, the employee of a cafe, happens to be 5'9, and a wearer of footwear that are 8.5. Now go look for him'n'look for clues.
Good luck.
RULES & NOTES
-No godmodding, metagaming, powerplaying, etc. You should know this already.
-The RP will be handled a little differently compared to Durham for Dinner and A Lichfield of Breakfast. No longer will the murderer be explictly spoiled in a character sheet of mine. It will instead be treated as an NPC, but a pretty major one nonetheless.
-This is my Christmas gift to you guys.
