Somewhere off the coast of Los Angeles...
They thought we were crazy.
They thought we were rich schoolchildren with nothing but time on our hands.
They.
Thought.
Wrong.
"Cars lay desolate in the warm streets of Los Angeles. Buildings, and homes lay desolate as survivors kill to survive. Order has been broken. It's hunt, or be hunted. But oh so many years ago, it wasn't always like this. Every few days the speakers blare the same, strange rhetoric."
Anonymous Survivor
"To all the survivors of the Deadlands, are you tired, hungry, thirsty, or bleeding? Come to the Garden of Eden! We have it all: medical facilities, five star restaurants, and luxury at no cost! Just simply find the nearest dock of Los Angeles, and our 'Bottleneck' mini-submarines will send you down!"
I've forgotten how long ago it was when the bombs fell. But we, The Preppers, the best of the best, the richest of the rich, knew the bombs would fall. We invested our time and money into building The Garden of Eden: a magnificent, underwater biome that would sustain life for many years. Once it was completed, we invited as many of our family and friends to the Garden. We predicted when they would fall through an asset in the United States Government. We watched as tensions flared between the U.S, the U.S.S.R, and friends.
As the conflicts escalated, it had gone too far, as those left on what is doomed to become the Deadlands were unfortunate enough to see the flashes occur. That was when the bombs fell. Very few, I estimate, had actually survived, but we are unsure about what really happened to them. After the bombs dropped, we thought it was all over. We thought we were going to outlive the sodom above. We thought we were forever safe.
But ultimately... No.
It's been a few decades, or two since the bombs had dropped. We're running out of food and water. We're running out of workers and equipment. We're running out of lives.Worst case scenario, we're running out of time to outlive those staying above the Garden of Eden.
As President of the Garden of Eden, I appoint you to fulfill the needs of our society.
