i'm pretty tired of the constant political talk and it's seriously everywhere
like
yes, i get it's very important to stay informed and know the different angles or whatever
but i'd like to just go to sleep for maybe a few years and stop worrying about anything

I'm tired of modern politics with the smear campaigns. I'd much rather have two normal politicians to deal with because at least with a normal Democrat and a normal Republican I know that the Union won't collapse; many of Trump's policy ideas have only one precedent and that's in Germany in the 1930s and 1940s.
That said I do quite like politics in general, I just find modern politics too extreme for my liking.

People rioted like this over Obama too, saying that he'll ruin America. It's the same with every country that has representative democracy. |

People have been making smear campaigns, lying and being general shits.
Fuck Thomas Jefferson even did this, while he was running he called his opponent's mom a hermaphrodite, but sure lets act like we just got shit.
