it's been years since you've last fell asleep. you stayed asleep for another two, ever since you found out the terrible news of the disappearance. two long years. just enough for someone to easily disappear. it's as if the door had been locked from the inside for so long. but no longer. please, no longer. please wake up. ... what is her name? >___

huh? well, it could be anything at this point. you could even roll a die at it. nobody would argue with you. cynthia, it's a good name. suppose that answers one of your questions. but, that leaves another thing. this isn't a place as a part of your home, no, it appears more like a guest room than anything else. your glasses are right next to you. there's an envelope, and a note on the desk nearby. on the left, there's a closet door. you don't know how you could tell it's a closet door, but by the odd handle, it's quite easy to tell. on the far front, there's a drawer with a mirror asphyxiated on it, besides it, another door. what's your first act, here?

Poot on glasses
Also, the fact that she is not called Josephina Stalina upsets me greatly Pick. I am sad now.

your glasses, yes. wait, your glasses? how would you know that? ah well. it's yours now. though things are still just a little blurry, you can at least see. it makes you feel a little better. you could have been able to see without them, but it would have much more difficult to read. maybe. you wouldn't be sure if it would make a difference until you came to that beforehand. you go ahead and look and take at the note, at the same time.

Get dressed in appropriately and brush hair

oh yeah the equipment screen. here's what you have now i guess. Get dressed in appropriately and brush hairWhat's wrong with the clothing you have already? You think, and believe that it's appropriate enough, though, perhaps it's a little too informal for someone that's a bit of a new people. Maybe you could look around deeper into the closet to find something more fitting than what you see here? You use the brush on top of the dresser with the mirror and brush your hair. Surprisingly enough, there aren't much tangles before hand. Not bad for someone who's slept for a while! It manages to flatten your bed hair quite well. You think?

I'll take up and don whatever nice dress I can find in the cavern of clothes; perhaps one with a lot of laces could be nice? Laces are akin to formality, right? Must have read that somewhere. Hm. I admire my hair; hardy under the siege that sleeps puts upon it. A tinge of pride can be felt about it.. but only a tinge.

Hm.You grab one of the dresses, the one with the most lace, as you believe it to be the same as formality. Whenether that would be true or not, well, either way, it's not a bad fit on you. Most of the dresses in the closet, look like they could all fit you, though, so that isn't something that would be exactly unexpected. How does it look on you? I admire my hair; hardy under the siege that sleeps puts upon it. A tinge of pride can be felt about it.. but only a tinge. You take yet another look in the mirror, to see the previous results of brushing it. Clearly, it has helped. It's simply good hair.

Fancy! Go to the outside

Fancy! Go to the outsideGood idea! The door leading to the hallways opens with relative ease. creaaak What you see is something akin to a wide open tunnel, reaching to either side of you. The rock floor is much more unsteady than the carpet you were stepping on, with an odd, smoothed out texture. Though it is much darker than the room you were before in, has a faint hint of light echoing through it, though a light source in your immediate area isn't quite visible. On the walls, you could see faint, square-like markings. On the side, that you're facing right now, is a side that has parts of it protruding in odd ways. On your right, you could hear a faint noise from a distance, something which is faint tapping and gentle scratching against the floor.

Upon opening the door I blink a few times, allowing my eyes to adjust to the change of light. The sound down the hall irks me, so much so that I feel the need to go and tell whatever is there to settle on down.

The sound down the hall irks me, so much so that I feel the need to go and tell whatever is there to settle on down. It's not hard to see through the caverns. It's only as dim as the shadows under the bed in your room. You head on to where the noise appears to be coming from, if only to figure out a source. You head through the tunnel, quietly through the path for your goal. The noise becomes much clearer as you come closer, and you figure it appears to be footsteps from a sharp pair of shoe, which in turn, is attached to what seems to be a person. As soon as you could get a decent look at her besides an initial glance, she stops walking, though it seems that she's unable to see you. She appears to be in slight thought, as if she was trying to remember something.

You don't know this lady, she could be dangerous. Better tread carefully.
"Hello ma'am!"The woman tilts her head at the noise, clearly noticing your presence. "Oh!" her voice neither cheery nor with a hit of aggression in them, more surprised and offtake, than anything else. Her words are more of a stream of thoughts, rather than anything else, passing through quickly, occasionally blending in one another. She probably is dangerous, but not to you, not right now. "So, there you are. Hello, Miss. That is you, right? Not to worry, I'm not going to hurt you on purpose, at least. You're a child of a friend, after all, I think. I'm one who is supposed to guide those who are new and unfamiliar to the world... But, I guess I can give updates to those who are unfamiliar with the new system. Though, if I am to be correct for whom I'm guessing you to be... you are neither, aren't you? If I'm correct on who you are... I hope I'm not too confused on this... ah... Well, it probably won't feel like that for a while, many things have changed, since then. "Oh, I nearly forgot, happy 18th Birthday. That was yesterday, wasn't it? Well, if it was, you probably should have gotten an envelope... Ah, well, regardless, you must be confused and disorientated, and probably out of the loop... Do you remember any relatives? Any friends? Your name? A certain year? Anything? At least, something that you'd like doing... Ah, sorry, I'm just asking needless questions at this point. I'm sure you still have your memories. Oh, it's been such a while ever since, well, many people have left. I'm rambling, aren't I... Ah, apologies. Do you need anything?"

This woman really did talk. Talk talk talk. What's it with talking people? They just move their mouth and words just keep coming out, yadayadayada, yawn yawn yawn. Would my old cat look at me like this when I talked to her? Am I a cat just looking at this person and staring at them and acting like I'm listening but I'm really not? Is being that kind of person good? Yeah, it can be. Lots of the time things people say doesn't matter at all. Like, what's u- oh, shit, she's been talking to me this entire time. "-questions at this point. I'm sure you still have your memories. Oh, it's been such a while ever since, well, many people have left. I'm rambling, aren't I... Ah, apologies. Do you need anything?" My mind goes blank; I heard absolutely nothing up until 'that is you, right?' and that last sentence. Oh my.. "Um.. directions would be nice."
