(This is a big, giant, detailed space story that I'm sure all of you will like. It'll come out in parts, and will be my best story. The second part might come out tomorrow, since I'll be busy today and might not have enough time to make a bigger part to post. Also, the main mechanic here is that over time, more and more things will happen and things will become more dramatic. Also, by the end of this, you'll know everything about what crazy nicknames this story will have. Anyways, here it is:)
Let me say this, right off the bat: If I just dived into this story without explaining a single detail about the ins and outs of the Cheshire System, you'd be the most confused person in the cosmos. So, what is the Chesire System, you may ask? It's a solar system, placed all the way over in Andromeda, the Milky Way's neighboring galaxy. It's also where all known life in the universe currently lives. Keep in mind the word known life. There could be over a billion other unknown races living off somewhere else in the Virgo Supercluster, and we might not be aware of any of them. This interesting (but long) story explains the occurance - The Revolution - that changed our opinions on those multitude of words that I just spoke.
To start you off, here's a basic description of the main planets in the Cheshire System, or just the System for short. Prepare for many unknown phrases and nicknames - all will be explained soon.
Viugo
Life is normal here. Viugo is the one planet that was a part of the System that was first colonized by the Evolved. It's a huge planet, as well--a rocky mass three times bigger then the System's sun. The entire planet is owned by a holding, titled "Hoséphine's Services". They've been around for many centuries, and they played a huge part in the evacuation from Earth. A few were left behind, back there...only because they, for an unknown reason, preferred death.
Kega
Kega is a rather small but densely populated planet, the closest to Star-828-B. Ironically, it's almost always dark and foggy there, due to thick chemicals in Kega's atmosphere. It's population is fully made up of the Remedies. No rules and no authorities belong here, and the majority are just fine with that one rule.
Yep, that's it. If you knew who the Remedies or the Evolved were, then those two descriptions would be much, much longer. Maybe about a book each.
I will explain the rest in a second part soon. Due to limitations, however, the entire story and who certain factions are won't be revealed instantly. They will come out in short parts as we progress through the account on Viugo's utter destruction and the fall of Hoséphine's. You heard it right.
As for now, here is the first part, shorter then the other, upcoming ones:
COSMATIC DATE/-8876.16
Hoséphine was furious. The orders for the new Deepers had been sent in over two weeks ago, and they still hadn't come in. The production company claimed it was due to a 'small error with the hydraulic and power systems', but he assumed it was a bitter lie. They often come in within days, but two weeks? Never. Never in his eighty-two cosmatic years of service did that happen. The other Deepers, the ones they were using to mine the new phosphiteium crevices they found, had broken down quite shortly after usage commencing. It was unusual. Almost all of the power-needing machines all across Viugo malfunctioned and shut down imminently. But Hoséphine was determined to find the cause for it and continue the mining operations. After all, the time Viugo's people needed resources the most was right now. Otherwise, food stores would shut down, Givers would stop working, and a lot of houses would lose services such as water, conditioning, and power. Some of those services were considered a luxury back in the Earth days, but when you have 68 billion people living in multi-story cities spread across Viugo with constant pollution, noise, and traffic, they're the opposite of a luxury. Getting peace and quiet is the best luxury you can get.
Maybe there's some planets out there that are big enough, green enough, and livable enough to support 68 billion Evolved. Just maybe.
