/THAT SOUNDS LIKE A GOOD PLAN..../ Malone becomes a little distracted by the news channel that Edward puts on. /WOULDN'T WANT TO BE STUCK HERE TOO LONG/

/ THAT'S RIGHT, / Ches answers. Now crawling high up on the wall, fly-Ches turns his patterned gaze towards the text was rolling across the television's screen.

It's CNN, currently discussing a petty court case before switching over to the apparent "success" of the first night of The Hallowed. This alone tells you that Eyez is keeping everything on lockdown or there's been an explanation put out for both the disappearance of Malone and yourself.

Well, at least things seemed handled on that end of the spectrum. Now, if only Ches had an idea as to how to sneak Malone out, and get Isaiah here, to catch Edward.

Hmmm, you can spot an air vent close to the door, if you wanted to examine the rest of the hotel that would be the obvious way to go though you could always start by checking around the suite that Edward's staying in right now.

Fuck that, Ches isn't leaving Malone alone with this guy.

Smart move, Malone's engaged him in conversation and he now appears to be talking about himself:
"It was supposed to be a routine bombing run in Iraq. I... released the bombs on our own troops. Oh God..." Even though you know all this from being inside his head, it's slightly horrifying to see him admit this to a child as he holds his head up while tears Begin to glisten in his eyes. "So many lives..."
Luckily before this can go too far food arrives and Malone quickly rushes over to the door to story it out.

This information isn't anything he doesn't know himself, from viewing Edward's memories. With Malone preoccupied elsewhere, Fly-Ches takes the moment to look around the hotel room.

Scanning around the room you can spot weapons cases shoved almost out of site, a laptop, Malone's shoes, a cheap coffee maker, a closet, TV, sofa, a very plain desk and three doors. You already know that one leads to the bathroom, the other one is open to the kitchen and the last is shut firmly closed, so by the power of deduction that's the bedroom part of the suite.

The Science of Deduction. c: ]
Fly-Ches idly buzzes around the ceiling, well out of the reach of any slap-happy fingers. He hovers over towards the duo, listening in.

(yeahhhhh)
Malone's feeding Edward half truths, fully expectant that yourself or Isiah will sort him out later. You know that if she reveals to much then you can always butt into her thoughts or tell her to stop, though it's unlikely she'll get that far.

/OH DEAR/ Malone carries on being questioned until she gets cold feet, aware of her boundaries. Visibly frustrated Edward goes towards his bedroom and opens the door. /NOW'S YOUR CHANCE, YOU CAN GET INTO HIS ROOM/

/ I DON'T NEED TO GO INTO HIS ROOM. / Ches replies softly, still buzzing about the airspace. However, after a moment's hesitation the little fly zips through the door, and lands on the ceiling.

Once in the room you begin to listen to the skype call that Edward's started with who must be his contractors.
"The girl is being stubborn. I have a hunch she's going to escape. I'm going to need backup. As for the strike team, rally the GIGN, GSG-9, Spetsnaz, GROM, and the SAS. If we're going to arrest the Messengers we're going to bring out the best of the best. Contact their offices, if we're going to raid tomorrow I want them on a plane here right now. That's all."
"We'll alert local police and if she gets away we'll lead them under the pretense that she's mentally deranged." A man with a distinguishable British accent replies, you remember from Edward's memories that he's one of the best payers. "As for your backup, they'll be on their way soon. Where is the girl currently?"

Fly-Ches idly listens in. He can't cut the connection without the action seeming suspicious, so he settles with listening in. Damn, he'll have loads to report back to Isaiah - they'll have to make preparations. Speaking of which.. he should probably call the guy. The little fly circles the room, looking for possible cracks to squeeze out of.

Hmm, there seems to be a window, a metal air event that you could easily fly through in your current form and of course, the door. You're about half way though your fourth circuit of the ceiling when you hear shuffle and then-- /CHES THERE'S SOMEONE ELSE IN HERE/ Malone's tone is one of sheer panic. /HE'S GOT A GUN/
