Slow the van then, Ches can do that. Although he didn't want Malone to interfere - possibly throw the plan he was scrapping together into jeopardy. He had to get her out, first things first. Once more throwing his conscious into the van, Ches invades Malone's thoughts and emotions, overriding everything he can with a simple command. / SLEEP. /
(Yooooo, if you don't want Malone to fall asleep and stuff, just ask me and I'll change it when I get the chance. (: )

(Yoooooooo it's cool)
It takes allot more will and force to inflict your powers onto another Messenger then it did with the with the crowd, but you manage to push Malone to sleep, feeling her brain dull down from a confusion of thoughts to radio silence.

Still lurking around within the background of Malone's brain, Ches forcibly imposes his will over hers, pushing the girl's sleeping mentality towards the back of her brain. / SLEEP AND DREAM, MALONE. / Ches tells her, / DREAM OF YOUR BEST MOMENTS, OF DAYS WHEN YOU WERE HAPPY. MOST IMPORTANTLY, DON'T. WAKE. UP. / Body-snatching always felt odd to the man, when he could just simply shift his form. But residing in a body that wasn't your own? There was a sort of 'other-ness' in moving, an odd feeling that couldn't be shaken away, no matter what.

You catch a few flashes of childhood memories, a smiling face of a family member and warm sunshine on skin before you're aware of Malone's surroundings. Edward's asking you if you're "okay kid?" before ripping a security headset off your-- well Malone's head and placing it on his.

Ches steadies his breathing, following Malone's pattern of being asleep. FIrst off, he'll have to be aware of some of the teenager's mannerisms, in order to correctly mimic her for a little while

You sift through your memories of Malone's public interactions: very dreamy hand gestures, a soft tone of voice and lots of blinking.

[What are her exact powers?]

(The ability to manipulate how people perceive things such as other people, the world around them ectra. She can't permanently change their perceptions though, which is how her performances work- she's projecting small ideals and images onto people but can't sustain them )

As Malone, Ches continues to feign sleep. He'll attempt to establish contact with Isaiah once Edward's safehouse was revealed, but until then it was easier to just play the part of sleeping.

You're soon aware that you're on the highway, the security radio is out of range as Edward drives. You can sense a small part of Malone's mind still active, trying to figure out what's going on but it's taking allot of time for her brain to process things.

/ GO BACK TO SLEEP MALONE. / Ches urges the girl gently, pushing her mind back even more. / THERE'S NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT. /

Malone complies, subconsciously wanting this to all be over, for her to be safe aga- Alright, we should be at my place in 15-20 minutes. Wadya want on your pizza?" Edward question, breaking the dribble of thought.

Ches pretends to stir, feigning a yawn for the benefit of his company. "Mmmmm, something gooey.." He murmurs softly, adopting Malone's soft tone.

"That is not exactly a topping, per se." Edward replies to you, believing that you're Malone- it's not like he's got a reason not too.

Ches rolls Malone's shoulders, before blinking slowly at the man for effect. "As long as it's gooey," they reply.

"All meat, then. I'm going to order some wings." With that he pulls up into a Hotel parking lot that looks rather formal actually, shoves all of his weapons out of sight before exiting the van.

"Mmm," Ches says, before following suit. He curls Malone's delicate hands around the handle of the van, before twisting it and pushing out. Stepping out the door, his eyes involuntarily track the small bird swooping in the sky, his soulless shell reacting on base instinct and the control he still exerted on it. / I SHOULD HIDE, / Ches thinks, referring to the other-himself and not the Malone-himself. / BECOME SOMETHING SMALL AND UNNOTICEABLE. A FLY. /

Easy peasy, just try not to lose track of yourself or you might end up stick in Malone's body. Following Edward, you enter the hotel and you're meet by a large but very empty lobby, with the receptionist idly flicking through a Vogue magazine.

Lol. Rip Ches, all these superpowers and he accidentally swats his fly-body.)
Ches-Malone forces himself to most slowly, elegantly, mimicking Malone's unique sense of 'movement'. She always seems so fluid, like a ballet dancer moving in time for the music. For the moment, he keeps his mouth shut, rearranging his features to portray the teenager's innocent complacency. He'll have to make contact with Isaiah soon.

( im wheezing oh dear imagine if edward just swats the fly-body and ches just goes "well shit." )
Hopefully at some point you'll get the chance to sneak away and use a hotel phone. The keys for the hotel room are exchanged and you catch a better glimpse of the receptionist who is completely and utterly oblivious to the presence of Malone's body. You can't help but be amused at how some people live in their own worlds.

ches would be like 'well shit i guess im malone now sorry malone. /
Ches-Malone follows after Edward. He rakes his eyes around the dingy little area, on the lookout for a possible telephone device. If he had enough energy, the man could probably be able to cntact the Messenger more directly, via the mind. But that would mean energy, amounts Ches didn't have. Unless he waned to stir up some himself, would likely be disastrous.

(rip. also tails is joining our universe so expect his charterer to come into play sooon)
Following Edward to the elevator, you step in and press the third floor button where Edward's room is located. On the wall you spot a map of the hotel, low and behold there are public phones you can use if the ones in your room don't work.

Ches files away this thought for later use. In the elevator he wraps Malone's arms around himself, slowly swaying as he'd seen Malone do many times in the past.

Edward's whistling Mozart's Symphony no. 25, in G minor by the time the lift doors open with a polite ping. Again Malone's consciousness stirs, you're aware that you can't keep her down forever.

Shit, he just needs a little while longer. / GO BACK TO SLEEP, ? Ches says to the stirring Malone, asserting his consciousness over hers once more. He needs to keep the girl placated until more Messengers arrived, otherwise she might let th eman who shot Diana escape again.
