(cs for reference purposes; putting anything ooc or like that in a spoiler so it doesn't take up much room.) Name: Darius Toral Starting amount of currency: ×210 Appearance: Pale blond hair falls over Darius' eyes, often unkempt and getting in the way of his vision, much to his annoyance. There is a single starch white streak through it on the left hand side. His dull green eyes are, surprise surprise, emotionless and blank. Wears a white tuxedo with one silver button done up, and a dreary blue shirt beneath it, as well as a black bowtie. Otherwise he has a scarf on him, which is a dark grey shade similar to that of a mournful, stormy sky. Pick a number: 340 Preferred type of roleplay: ISRP I suppose. favorite color: Red. Maybe this'll influence my decisions with bias or something?? You enter the shop to find a fairy like yourself smiling behind the counter. A little ring sounds as the door closes behind you. "Hello, and welcome to Emotions Potions!" greets the fairy who works here, displaying their best Customer Service Face. "Look around the shelves if you'd like, or ask me and I'll show you a list of our most popular flavors!" (tip)if you look around, you can pick pretty much whatever emotions you want as long as they're actually emotions otherwise you just gotta pick from whatever emotions i could think of

"Emotions potions," says Darius dully. "Catchy."
He takes a glance around, surveying the contents upon the store's many shelves. There's just too many to pick from. Where would he even start? It is almost overwhelming to Darius, who had no idea what he was even buying, only having the curiosity necessary for delving into this exploration.
"Uhh. Too many choices. A list would be nice..." Darius muses, twiddling his fingers and brushing his scarf off of his shoulder. "Though do you have any emotions that take on the color red? I rather like that color."

"Sure thing!" the cashier responds with enthusiasm. She probably took some enthusiamn this morning, before work. "Here's the list."
She hands it to you.
POPULAR POTIONS GUIDE SHEET
Potions:
Happiness Sadness Anger Lust Love Curiosity Depression Anxiety Boredom Lethargy Excitement Enthusiasm Suspicion Lenient Shame Loneliness Envy Awe Panic Enjoyment/pleasure Regret Pain
Sizes:
Regular: ×50 Eternal: ×100 Temporary: ×10
CAUTION: Due to chemical reactions that may occur upon the mixing of certain potions, a new emotion may be created!
WARNING: Low emotion diversity may lead to more constant feelings.
"That's the most updated sheet. As for what might go well with red, I'd say... Love, anger, and panic would be the most fitting to that color, in my opinion."

"Hmm..."
Darius mulls it over a bit, reading the list in his mind. There's still a lot of choices, but at least it's been narrowed down to around twenty. The ones that sound and seem the most interesting to Darius, however, are Lethargy, and Panic. Panic, after all, is red. So might as well go with it.
"Panic and Lethargy are intriguing. I'll take them," he says solemnly, glancing at the list once more to make a final decision. "Oh, and, I'll also try out 'enjoyment'. Regular for everything except panic. I'll go for eternal there. Actually, I only want lethargy to be temporary." Darius blinked, handing back the paper with the popular flavors written on it.
All together, it totaled to ×210. A decent sum, though it would drain all of his money for the time being.
(OOC note: Darius was busy being indecisive.)

"Oh! Actually-" The fairy pointed toward a sign taped to the wall behind the counter- "All red potions are 20% off today. All sizes. I didn't point it out to you earlier because I figured you saw it, what with asking which ones were red and all."

In Darius' book, saving ×40 on his eternal panic potion was quite the bargain. Red being his preferred hue, it was a win on both sides.
"Ah, thank you," he said offhandedly, rummaging through his pockets to scrape together the final amount. When he withdrew it all from his coat, he set it on the counter to make the exchange. "That's a blessing onto me if I've ever seen one."

"Thank you for your business!" the cashier grins.
"Oh!- And just a tip. You might want to take the eternal panic outside. Some customers react, ah, rather strongly to it. Have a good day!"

Unable to discern his confusion simply because he did not have the capacity for the feeling, Darius thanked the cashier, took his new purchases and exited the building. A strong reaction. Did that mean good, or bad? What was panic?
Well, it was time to find out.
Whipping out the vial infused with an alarmingly scarlet liquid contained inside, Darius drank the eternal panic without a second thought.

The scarlet potion seizes you entirely. Beginning from a small tremor, to an uncontrollable quaking, it sneaks up on you and pounces. Wrestle with it as you may, it's got you.
You realize you're sweating now. You can't quite breathe right. Your head's starting to spin, and it feels like you're dying. You're dying, you're dying! This can't be panic. You must have been poisoned. Oh god, you can't stop shaking.

The worry is unbearable for Darius! Upon the very first drops of the potion trickling down his throat, he feels it. The first inklings of panic. Is this what panic meant!? Darius trembled and shook, as millions of fleeting thoughts seemed to pass through his head at once, barely discernible! He had lost his focus almost completely, it was so overwhelming, he needed help...
"Ahh! I'm supposed to live in this world of turmoil for the rest of eternity!? Oh no, oh no! Maybe downing another potion will complement its effect in a way that will make it pleasant!"
Darius grasped his temporary lethargy potion and drank it, hoping that it would help him out here... Little did he know that this was probably not a good idea.
