On an island east of Siberia along the Bering Strait, Ostrov Kipeniye was previously inhabited by Russians. Russia found an oil well under Ostrov Kipeniye and invested about three million Russian rubles ($47,028.96 USD) in infrastructure and living complexes. In 2023, the Russians inhabiting Ostrov Kipeniye packed up their equipment and returned to the mainland. Five years later in 2028, a group of Russian moguls invested four million Russian rubles ($62,705.28 USD) into repairing the infrastructure around Ostrov. They turned the roads into asphalt and added some more residential zones, as well as adding an electrical grid across the island. They started recruiting workers to cut down the forests and mine out the natural resources in the ground. In 2030, the port at Ostrov was shut down and all 350 residents at Ostrov were trapped. The ferries weren't able to transport anyone. The electricity shorted out eventually, Tyuzovsky, the small industrial town around the Tyushnyakov Electrical Plant, became a source of power for whomever who controlled it. And I say this because the Russian government abandoned the island and the moguls' hired guard left with the last ferries.
It's winter now and it's colder than ever. But little do the inhabitants of the island know that cameras along the walls and in the buildings watch the moves of the inhabitants, and the moguls have produced a show based off of it. And every few weeks they send in another batch of contestants on a helicopter, blindfolded and naked. A select few of the contestants on Ostrov receive care packages but are insiders on the drama and such on the island. Sometimes the moguls even invest in a group of criminals and send them to the island to join the Hykaal Tribe, an artificial tribe deep in the forest with large wooden walls and huts, as well as strange rituals involving nudity and bestiality. The way that these moguls achieve these pinnacles of actors is by keeping them in cells in an outsourced prison for months to brainwash them and then teach them in the ways of the Hykaal.
Clans and guilds have formed across Ostrov Kipeniye, including the TL (Shadow Foxes), SBH (Silver Headhunters) and TME (The Marble Eagles). The Silver Headhunters have the largest clan, constituting of 79 members and ownership of two towns with rye and carrot farms, as well as livestock. They're ruthless and known for draining their enemies of blood and creating moats of blood around outposts and castles. Their coat of arms is the patriarchal cross on a hill; their colors are red, green, and white. The general currency accepted on Ostrov Kipeniye is in the form of the most valuable being bullets, and the least valuable being painted stones (Hykaal Tribe).
Now in 2039, Castle Lokovo is nigh-completion and the moguls are about to introduce a new enemy into the fray. Violence, sex, drugs, and alcohol runs rampant throughout the unlawful island. With it's main appeal to many adventurers being the ability to die a minute's notice.
You can be a contestant or a sponsor/spectator. You can even be an insider.
Characters that die are dead, but that does not eliminate you from the story. You can create new characters and have multiple characters at the same time. Although, most of the time if you have multiple characters they'd be unrelated to each other and far apart or spectators. Make note that you can be a child due to women living on the island as well.

This section is for gangs/clans/guilds that you may or may not create in the future.
To create a guild/clan/gang, you need prestige, an economic founding, and a base of operations. For common street gangs that would sling drugs and probably work in the smelteries in towns, less will be required than guilds spanning across the entire island. A prime example of a revered guild is the White Horns, a group led by Klokov Timurovich, is one of the lead manufacturers of 5.47x39mm bullets as well as 7.62x54r rounds for the Mosin Nagant. They're also one of the richest guilds due to this. They control a small portion of the northeast part of the island where some sulfur mines are. This is how they produce the gunpowder to create the bullets.
