You eventually cross paths with a man in a dark coat walking a large covered wagon down the road. "Hello, traveler!" He says to you, waving and smiling. "Say, you don't happen to like cool things, right?" He asks.

You trace back to the gas station. You now notice a sign leading to a place called 'Gibson'.

You poke the rifle barrel out through the cupboard. You can't aim it very well from this position however.

Crap. Valkyrie pulled it back in and look for some way to observe the monster.

Pahowaki turns towards the sign and continues down the road, hoping to reach Gibson as quickly as possible

I draw my nailgun and slowly make my way between the aisles, noting what is left on the shelves and listening to make sure I'm not being stalked by some hooligan or contaminated beast. I make sure I don't trip on any obstacles, either, I wouldn't want to get any more screwed up that I already am.

A shelf contain lengths of metal piping and smokeless gunpowder. With enough ingenuity, you could make some crude explosives.
At the end of one of the aisles you come across a broken looking man, fused to a bed of pulsating non organic substance. From this bed, crude appendages of the Yamashin's creation are slithering into a nearby power box. His dilapidated form looks up at you. "Don't hurt me." He wheezes.

Valkyrie exits the cupboards, and looks for an exit.

Paho dismounts his ride and ponders where he should go next. Of the two choices, the police department seemed to be the most logical. If anyone would have information on where whatever it was Pahowaki needed, it would be the local sheriff. He makes the logical choice, and starts walking towards the police station

Stepping inside, you find a large desk with some machinery on it. There's a staircase heading upwards and a door with 'maintenance' written on it to your left.

Valkyrie, a little too proud, begins to search the building.

Pahowaki steps inside and observes his surroundings. An interesting place, but nobody seems to be manning the front desk. Paho walks forward and stand just in front of the desk.

"Hello?" The native calls out

"That's a nice name. Are you responsible for the power, or something? Maybe stress on you stresses the power?" I ponder out loud. I consider trying to figure this out by conducting some painful experiments, but decide against it as he did not want to be hurt.

I head back to the aisle and attempt to take all of the smokeless gunpowder and a few pipes of medium length. Following that, I make my way to the next aisle and survey the general contents of it, not going through it.

"Cool things, you say?" my hand drifts towards the knife in my belt. A pause.
"What kind of cool things?"

This particular hallway was filled with all sorts of tremendous wrenches and sledgehammers.

"A-Aaagh! Walter! Call me Walter!" The man from the other aisle shouts once again. "The baaaaack room! You can cut the power and free me from the Yamashin! I can help you!"

If you proceed ahead, a door marked 'Stairwell'.
All other paths have seemingly caved in long ago.

Valkyrie enters the Mark Jackson room, rifle drawn. He observes the room carefully.

"I don't think one block losing power is too much of a bad thing...have you looked around? Everything's dead.

Valkyrie closes the door slowly. He checks the lockers, the desk, and finally, looks to see if the computer can be turned on.

"Uh, y-yes." Paho stammers out "I, uh. I was sent by the elder of my tribe to New Royale on tribal business. The gate keeper blocked my path, and sent me here. Do you have any idea what I have to do here?"

"Hm, didn't think of it like that. Honestly, I don't even think I thought of it at all," I say, glancing back to him. "Alright, friend, we have a deal, I will save you at the expense of some dead things and their power."

I go and grab a sledgehammer, then attempt to make my way into the back room/

"I, in fact, do." I say, eyeing the man suspiciously. I smile, but not with my eyes. Athena knows, I think. Athena knows.

The lockers are mostly sparce, save for a singular data cartridge for a computer. The desk contains some various stationary, nothing too important.
The computer is dimly lit with some decadent installed LEDs. You can turn it on with but a button press.

The back room featured a quite large generator, hooked up to a computer, presumably to monitor power.

I inspect the generator and see if there is a conventional way to disable it or if I would have to use the sledgehammer.
